What type Imeo? I have mothers but, it says mag and aluminum.

I use Mothers mag and aluminum on SS as well as brass with great results. I also have, and use Sharkhide metal polish. Many folks will say that Sharkhide is superior but it's quite a bit more expensive and I honestly can't tell a difference in performance.
Mothers isn't removing the prints??

I haven't tried it yet. I wasn't sure If it was safe for brass or not. I'll definitely try it after work tomorrow. Thanks for the patience the responses. These truly are my first high end mods and also the first brass. It's definitely a learning curve as far as care and cleaning compared to my other mods.

There maybe few more reason for that;

But we need to know if it's ceramic atty Ithaka or only R atty Ithaka,
As the reason maybe different.

Let's take for now the NR R NR atty.

If R tuch atty chember it can transfer heat to MP but also to center post
But if MP is open a lot,in some cases it can transfer heat to center post.

Make sure the atty chamber is not soak with e juice,
When u fire the mod,it's produce vapor on spot or is it a bit heavy???

Make sure your R don't spread in a way that tuch atty chember ceramic on old Ithaka
Or old high center post- this can transfer heat via center post to CT center post also.

Do you use the JGG close tube or with telescope ???
Make sure you have a firm tight contact with atty center post.

Just put some reasones for you to verify slowly wich may be the one that cos' this.

If all built ok no heat should transfer to the mod nor to the tank and it's MP.
And usually if body of JGG get hot it also get hot on atty part.. There for u can identify you have
Some issue from the above.

If u can't see what the reason, just make a new built and make sure from step one
That none of the above come to happen.

Hey imeo i checked it again with a multimeter. it shows me 0,9 and has an internal resistance of 0,1 ohm. the result is 0,8 = no shorty :?:
what can it else be?

Did you test the resistance with the Ithaka connected to the JGG connector? If your positive pin is a little loose or aligned incorrectly it could be causing a short when installed. Also make sure your button (including insides) are clean if the button is dirty and heating up it could be warming the body.

By the way i have noticed something at the moment. i have 0,75 ohms on the ithaka and the body of the jgg gehts noticeable warm. Any ideas to solve this?

-i have to thank you imeo for such a good work! keep going on satisfying us!

If JGG gets really warm, and Ithaka is burning hot it is normal. You are running too hot of a coil. If Ithaka is cooler than JGG, than your battery is getting hot and you have a problem somewhere. You have to identify if the heat is from the coil or the battery.
