Ugh - SLB cartos? That brand bugs me. Not just the inner seal but the fat slab of stuffing with no defined air channel. A couple of days use and mine are like trying to suck gophers through a garden hose. I much prefer Boge cartos. If they weren't marked SLB, where were they from so I don't buy any?

And I think washing cartos should be considered a way to maybe resurrect overused cartos, not something to do just to switch flavors. Test flavors in something other than a carto. Try them in a 510 cart w/ blue foam stuffing (strictlyejuice.com, easily washed out). Or use a manual battery and an atty and drip tip and test flavors that way.

I recommend buying blanks for your own flavors unless you have already found a compatible flavor you like in a prefill (then you could start with the prefill and top it off with your own juice). When I have prefills I hate, I put them in a bag and when I feel like it I will try to clean them. But I don't count on them for my supply.

That SLB stuffing is really really mushy and has litle structure. One person (jbblack) suggests this for drying but it's not possible to stand 510 cartos on their threaded end (maybe you can find some way to prop them up that way)

"(after washing and removing excess water, with the inner donut seal removed) Stick 'em in a muffin tin, battery side down. Put in a warm oven (180-200 degrees) and bake for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Presto...clean, dry cartos in right about an hour and a half."

Try that and see if you can resurrect one.

The Boge brand cartos for 510 are more structured inside with a central air channel and stuffing that stays in place better. I think they would stand up to washing better. I can get up to 2 weeks use out of a Boge. I only put juices I like enough to vape a lot in cartos. In prefilled cartos - if I like one I will top it off with a compatible flavor and eventually it will be all the new flavor.

Cartomizers are meant to be disposable. They aren't designed to be washed and dried. Some people have success and I have mostly seen it done with cartos that look more like Boge inside. I have not washed any yet but I've watched a number of videos on Youtube and I am saving some cartos up to try washing.

Personally I like Ikenvape 510 cartos. I haven't thrown one out yet and it's been quite a few months.

Once a week I rinse in warm water or give them a vodka bath - let dry on the windowsill a couple of days and Wah La! good as new! They have a defined airway.

I can't even imagine a carto that doesn't. What a PITA! I don't know if you can get Ikenvapes in Ireland, probably something relatively similar.

Liberty-flights in the US was out of stock of them last week.

Here you go - the 2.0 ohm ones can only be used on fat-battery models like Riva or Ego
The 3.0 ones are standard resistance and can be used on slim or fat battery models
Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers

But bummer - if you you are looking for KR808D-1 they are out of stock

I have had a lot of success cleaning and reusing Boge cartos, so far, I've even gotten six uses out of Blu cartos. Cleaning and rejuicing is my new weekend hobby!!
