Hey guys. I just finished my updated review of the eGrip rba base. This is game changing my friends and you can quote me on that. Flavor, vapor, and airflow are PERFECT. I will never use another stock coil again (not that they are bad) but the rba makes this a whole nother device. Its now time to get another one.

Thanks for the video. Out of curiosity how long have you been vaping?

Vaping exclusively or mixed? I had my first Vape at a mall. I think it was called smoking anywhere around 6 years ago. Then I had a stint of vaping with Cartos but went back to the smokes. Next was the egoc. Failed again. This time I quit August last summer for good. The better vapor and flavor finally met my needs and it was a simple transition.

It appears it is the right time to begin again because the technology and hardware is getting safer (protection wise) and better performance making it easier for people to finally quit for good. Now I am just Brian the vaping enthusiast.

And a nice review too, Brian, well done, and thanks! Now I want an egrip RBA, even though the egrip will only be used at my desk or as an out-and-about backup, it vapes well with good vapor production and great flavor at low power (with the aspire BVC coils that don't fit out of the box). Also its easy to fill and charge and very compact. What more can you ask for :)

First of all, let me say that I have had my eGrip since getting it at a local Vape Meet around October 15- the first day that that Mountain Oak Vapers (one of the sponsor of of the Smoky Mountain Vapor's event) got them in- got it at a great price of $60 and have been using it as my everyday go-to, on-the-run vape! Glad to see that Technonut is here- we go way back, 4 years on the Reo subforum!! How you doing, man?

Man oh man- The eGrip has been flawless and brainless and works perfectly every time although the flavor is slightly muted compared to my Reo mods that I've been used to. ! I use mine mostly for my go-to when I'm at work where I have to stealth vape. Otherwise, I've been a Reo guy for almost 4 years. That said, the RBA for this thing is going to be a game changer- I can't wait!

The other things that Joyetech is putting out for the eGrip are the silicone covers (blue, seafoam green, black and pink) and the adapter (appears it will be sold separately) to test the coils you build and hopefully can be used to dry burn the coils. Joyetech eGrip I would say that those that drop their mods might want to invest in one of these (apparently silicone?) covers, but I'm not too fond of the color choices.

I grew up in Japan so am fluent in Japanese and so did a bit of searching and although I know that the number of vapers in Japan have been increasing, I was surprised to find some items that are for their market only related to the eGrip. I really like this collaboration between Joyetech and Tochigi Leather (huge supplier to italian fine leather industry leaders) and I wanted one. syumicolle | Rakuten Global Market: Leather case only eGrip Joyetech certified electronic cigarette [domestic made in Japan / / Tochigi leather Luxury Leather / leather / leather /] I have bought from Rakuten before (you have to go through a 3rd party shipper- I use Tenso) and am all set up but didn't want to pay $30 for shipping so I was on the fence and was waffling. I posted over on FB to gain some interest in someone going in with me to order 3 or 4 of these cases, but had no takers. So last night in conversing with my wife and showing her the pictures (she also has an eGrip- wrapped in bright red from Vaperskinz with a bright red anodized drip tip), she told me to go ahead and order the black, dark brown and brown covers. We'll use two of them I know and probably give one away. She wants the black one with red thread- I'm sort of leaning towards the dark brown... Btw, I like the way that these have a grommet for attaching a lanyard or some type of clip, etc.

Just wanted to make others aware that the eGrip is awesome and there are more related products in store for us. This product from Tochigi Leather is just one of the examples (not available in the U.S. as of now- don't know if they ever will be- although I've contacted Joyetech, urging them to bring them over from Japan to the U.S., but have not heard from them).

Good to see you around too Dave.. :) We have been kicking around the forums for awhile huh? ;) .. Yep, the eGrip has made quite a splash, and the RBA attachment will be welcome to many for sure. ;) I've been enjoying this little mod immensely. It's the perfect out-n-about for my needs. I still enjoy my REO, (and other devices) but the eGrip is just handy to grab-n-go.. :)

I REALLY like the looks of the Tochigi Leather case.. Hopefully, it will be available in the States soon. Be sure to post about it here if you hear something.

Okay, got mine tonight... but it won't fire :( it's on. I push the button and it blinks? Any advice?

The blinking might indicate it needs to be charged.
If it's charged, the led should stay on solid for about 6 seconds.
The only time mine has failed to fire, I tightened the atomizer base and that fixed it.

Was the atty, pulled the pin and both the legs were on the same side of the rubber gasket. I know that wasn't right. Put a new atty in and poof... but I burnt it rught away. Where does the smallest dot need toline up to only use 8 watts?

Checked other atties legs and all the same??? What am I missing?
