I have a few packs of the pre-built Joyetech coils. What I'm finding out is, these are coming out below the 1.2 ohm rating. I've been getting .09 and 1.1 readings. Some are 1.3. Just a heads up for people that might be having problems and are using these.

Juicejug, the first coil I tried had shorts between the coils. I had to dry burn it a bit and run a mandrel through the coils to loosen them up, to allow the aluminum oxide coating on the coils to insulate them from each other. The older method is to dry burn and squeeze with tweezers. When you dry burn, check for even heating. If the heating is not even, the colder coils are the shorted ones. There's a good chance you just have some shorted coils.

Cool. I'll do that next time I replace one. Thanks Ian. :)

I just received a new camo egrip and the firing button and wattage turning wheel are very loose and wobbly . Does anyone else have this going on , not sure if I need to send it back or not?

I don't know, I thought mine seemed wobbly when I got it, now it seems normal. The button does have some play because it floats inside the led ring. My dial has a little play side to side. I haven't had any problems though. Hard to measure. Can you compare it to another? At a brick and mortar maybe?

Sorry... That was Cignot... Auto correct does it again!

Just checked cignot.com and they don't say they do, but then again they don't say they don't.

E-mail Vicky and ask. (It's the "Contact Us" link on the site.) She usually replies in a matter of hours. This hasn't come up in a long time and I can't remember if they do Canada shipping.

They do have the best ala carte options right now. Body only, body combined with the RBA & 510 base, all parts separately - including pre-made coils for the RBA.

Mine has a little play in the wheel and fire button - but no more than you would expect on... like even an eGo fire button. There has to be some play in there but I sure couldn't describe mine as"very loose and wobbly" though.

Anybody see this yet? Supposed to be out end of October. 1.82" x 0.80" x 3.92" (w/drip tip/mouthpiece). VV, 1500mAH, 20w (8-20watts) w/built in atomizer. Holds 3.6ml.

Love the size in hand. (see link) You open a little door on the side to put liquid in, and airflow is adjustable as well as wattage. I bet they are pretty. And you can vape it while it's charging.

Wonder what the atty will be like......I'll take a joyetech atty any day over a kanger.

So I may have identified my problem....

First, let me say my multimeter just has pointy tips, not those little claw/clamps to hold small things with, so I tested the coil on the RBA base, reading off the screw terminals, and it read 0.9 ohm. These are the pre-made coils from cignot. SoI grabbed a new one, put it on, and it read 1.0 ohm.

I understand this won't fire below 1.2, so should I just keep trying them? Should I try the 1 ohm? Also, it came with a little bit of wire, so I could conceivably make my own, I just never have, and it's not a lot of wire to work with if you're a noob like me.
