for those that are not using the RBA, I’ve been using different heads for the egrip, here’s some of my thoughts:
Aspire BVC coil: really good flavor, I enjoyed every vape until i started to taste weird stuff. requires you to switch out the base with the CS pin to make it compatible, doesn’t screw in completely but not bothersome at all, still stands on it’s own. it was spitting a lot in the beginning, might’ve been my fault for drawing too much liquid in, once i broke it in it caused no problems. vapor product was small, i only did mouth to lung hits. lasted about 2 weeks before tasting weird. also was at the half-way dot for wattage.
GS air coil: fits stock and no need to modify anything. little more expensive than the BVC coils but still half the price of the CS coils. more vapor production, nothing like the RBA but still better than the BVC. flavor isn’t as good as the BVC, much smoother hits but there’s a loss in flavor. about a week in and it is consistent. i noticed that if i went too high in watts, it would give some good pop’s and the fire button would stop and blink halfway so i put it down a dot and had no problems after that.
CS coil: too expensive.. i might have no primed it enough but it would give off this off-taste with every hit. vapor was good and flavor was so-so, no reason to buy these heads again after using the GS air.
i bought a 5 pack of the aspire and GS air so i’m going back and forth to see which one i prefer in the end.
