Questions/plz advise
when caring for a coil (mostly rba pre fab coils) and wanting to give it a nice long life what are some things you don't want to do to them? What destroys these coils? I have very little experience when it comes to the rba or coil maintenance and I am wanting to keep the few I have going until my order comes. plus it would be nice to know this stuff for the future so I can get the most out of each one. and in the meantime I am trying to learn how to make my own coils, I'm just not great at it... I suck at it actually...![]()
[IMO] There's no such thing as a long life to coils. Things to factor are how often you're using it & the type of juice you're using (some gunk up the coils faster than others). If you're using a RBA you can switch out coils as often as you like. If you're using coil heads you can always wash them out really really good & allow them to dry. I give mine a 190-proof Everclear bath.
