Sounds and looks like it's a BIG improvement over the previous tank system that is out there.
It wasn't a BIG improvement for me in that I was one of the lucky ones as far as leaks go. I think much of what I did to prepare the tank and the fact that I vape VG and that I don't powervape - since I have about 6 going... were responsible for the no leaks. All those factors kept me from getting the leaks reported by some others - although there were many that had similar experience as I did as well. That said - this hasn't leaked so far and it is running cooler. Using a clear ejuice, there has been no discoloration and I am 'powervaping' this one for testing purposes. I've run several fillups through it with no burning or discoloration. And again my B attys are metering in at 2.1 mainly but a few 2.2 and 2.3. This one is solid at 2.4Ω.
I didn't notice leaking with mine neither. Got a lot of good info from reading posts and advice that I got (thanks, I appreciated it) in the ego-t type B threads. So, I had a real good idea of what I was getting into before I got my kit. Think that was a big reason why I didn't get leaks with my ego-T type B. Crazy thing is I still have all of my original atties. Probably due to me not using it as much as I used to. But, I'm contributing that to the fact that I cleaned my atties pretty often.
It's kind of disappointing to hear that it's running cooler at 2.4 ohms since I figured that they would improve upon that. Good to hear that there isn't any discoloration within the tank. I have had that happen a lot with my B tanks when I got down to the middle of the tank.
How would you compare the two? Disadvantage and advantage of the ego-c? Does it feed better? Was the wicking issues taken care of? Has the flavor been improved in this current version?
Well the disadvantage of the ego-c A types over the B types that are my regular vapes is volume of course and as I said - if this keeps going well, I'll wait for the B's to pop on the ego-c. The original eGo-T A types didn't perform as well as the B's did for most who tried both. Lots of threads re: that. So apples to apples - this is a big improvement but not compared to the eGo-t B types. The other slight disadvantage is the vapor is less on this one than my eGo-T B types - slightly less wattage and that makes a difference. The advantages so far are better flavor - no wash out of flavor or burnt taste, not a drop of a leak, it is 'sleeker' looking than the B's; the core/module is easy to change and it is easier to access the wick if that needs adjusted - so far that hasn't been a problem. Easier to clean as well, although haven't needed that either.
Definitely, I thought that they would start off with the B's and build on that to increase performance. Guess I was wrong. Anyways, it's good that they improved the flavor but, that's probably due to the increase in ohms for the atomizer. I am glad that they have made it possible to change the atomizer and easier to adjust the wick and what nots.
When it releases, I'll get a couple to try out on my VV box mod with an adapter of course. Been a fan of the ego-t type B since it got me off cigs and wouldn't mind getting this version to see how it does in performance.
If you are vaping B's now, but want to just try it - just get the new atty body and perhaps 2 modules. The tank is the standard A type that you get with the eGo-t kit, so you should have one of those around and I'd also pick up the soft caps for the A types - extra protection from leaks or future leaks... I don't remove the cap to fill. AND I'm guessing that the modules you receive will fit the B type atty body when that comes along. The size/diameter of the atty casing is the same for the A and B types where the module fits. And if so, then the modules you get won't be a total waste once the B types are released - just an educated guess though...
Yeah, I remembered you posting that you used a syringe to fill them which made sense. Since it'll weaken the cap from constantly taking it on and off. When the type B ones come out. Honestly, I just did it the regular way since I didn't own a syringe at the time.
I should be set and get some of those soft caps you were talking about. I would think that Cignot already has them but, if they don't then I'll be going to Totally Twisted to get some of those.
Thanks for your opinions/suggestions on this topic. I appreciate it.
