Yes, the same valve works on them all. I feel your frustration. I searched and searched finally finding one single vendors website claiming the valve would work on the minis and it works just fine. I was able to find one single photo on google of a mini with the valve installed. It seems word hasn't gotten around very well that these will work fine on the minis. It will and there is only one valve type available from Kanger that I have seen anywhere and I searched really hard. I've been vaping a mini pt2 and mini pt 3 on a couple of them for the last several days. That valve, a vv battery and some cotton wicks made a huge difference. My only issue now is that I'm emptying the small tanks if having a long vaping session. Get them and enjoy them. Also make sure you have that tapered beauty ring or the valve looks really odd sitting on an ego or a spinner if you're using a mini. I don't know how it will look on my SVD until that thing finally gets here.

I'll second what TDC123 said. I just got an aerotank and decided to see what other tanks the airflow controller fit on. It fits on my PT3 Mini. It also fit on my Evod Glass--but the depth at which the coil sits in the base leaved a large gap between the coil head and the pipe through which one sucks the vapor (is there a technical term for this part?) Bear in mind that if you do use the airflow controller on a mini, you will be utilizing 510 threading instead of the Ego threading.

I THINK that is called a chimney. I also think I have heard of people using some kind of airline tubing like is used on aquariums to connect the atomizer head to the chimney. Again I THINK I remember that was for the purpose of using a head from one protank model (possibly a dual coil) in another protank model. All that is pulled from my often less than reliable memory.

I have bought several of these airflow controllers and they are great on my Protanks, 2, mini's and my Sigelei puritank. I had posted in another thread about how when I tried to subohm with my stock protank how it had a nasty metal taste from what I assume is not enough air getting to supply a hungry low ohm coil and it getting too hot.
I went ahead and drilled out the airholes in the adapter with a 1/16 bit and give another try at a .6 ohm coil (4 wraps of 28 gauge with hemp fiber wicking). It was with a Protank1 I installed the coil and had me some exceptionally nice vapes. The ring did stick some but after a good washing out of all the metal shards, a pair of pliers to hold the bottom I did get the ring to spin.
With the more airflow with drilling the airholes bigger I can now enjoy some low ohm protank builds without starving the coil for air like with a stock setup.

Err,um, True the duals will not work in the PT2 but false the single coils wont work in the PT3/ Aero tank. I am pulling on an Aero tank fitted with a single coil as I am typing this.

No modifications needed and absolutely no trouble with flooding or leaking.

In fact, depending on the juice, I actually prefer the singles in the Aero over the duals.

Fitting an Aero base to a PT2 (with singles) makes it an entirely different animal altogether.

Well, everything I've read suggested that you needed to put a silicone cup upside down, on top of the original one on the single coils, in order for it to stay sealed in the PT3/Aerotank. Guess I was wrong then, don't own either of them, so can't test it myself. But good for you, and good to know.

Fitting an Aerotank base on a PT2, will also make it sit nice and floaty, if you put it on top of a ProVari - looks so good with the 1+ mm gap between tank and device :p At least that's my experience, which is why I now have 3 Aerotank bases, bought at insane prices right when they hit the shops, sitting in my drawer ;)

No strike two, since it's an issue here, plus with a handful of other ProVari owners I've talked to. I guess some center pins sit higher than others.
And buying a ring to mount between tank and device is hardly a fix.
But still, glad it's working for you, just trying to say, don't think the Aerotank base is the solution to all of life's problems - unlike alcohol.

Edit: Added a picture of how "flush" they sit on my ProVaris
