Yeah... Nail Clippers actually works well for cutting excess Wire off of the Posts.
I picked up one of these for like 6 Bucks at CVS.
I took out one of the Clippers and the File/Nail Cleaners to make room for a Coil and a piece of Cotton.
Just ordered a black STM and some Ni coils. Tired of switching out coils between the SX Mini and Kbox Mini with just one tank. Also just received a 5 pack of .5 vert OCC's. Will report on QC as I go through them.

This is a Subox thread with over 100 pages and 2100 posts. Did you really expect anyone here to recommend the VT over a Subox?
I didn't know the Kbox Mini supported TC with Ni coils. How do you adjust the temp?

Was reading through the batt life posts a few pages back. I've been running my $6 apiece LG HE4's with exceptional results. All day long with .5 @ 20-25 watts.
Just purchased some VTC5's from RTD. I know there's a lot of scuttle out there about fakes. I'm banking on the idea that RTD would not tarnish their stellar reputation by selling phonies. Fingers crossed, I've never spent 10+ dollars per batt before. Lol

Speaking for myself, there is no hype for the Subox. It's a quality product that works well for me and many other on this thread. IMO, TC is too new to be a known quantity. Given time, I think all devices will have it. Sorry if I misunderstood your original post. I only assumed that you were looking for a recommendation.

Don't think I would want to buy two of them though. Hmm...if I do get one, perhaps a trade with someone else.

Maybe I worded that incorrectly. I only have one black STM to use between my TC SX Mini and my (obviously) non TC Kbox mini. It's a PITA to swich out coils to use between the two mods. So, I ordered another STM in black. Problem solved!
Where'd you find the vert occs? Hope my local shop gets them soon, I have $10 off coils from a reward program thingy.
I am not a Kanger box mod fan just because imo they have very very little mod building experience under their belt compared to mods with proven long lasting micro chips.

This thing rocks for a little mod with a clearo on it.
The battery cover is held on with 4 magnets.
The body of the mod is pretty solid feeling aluminum.

I'm not really sure that being new to the box mod game necessarily equates to a shoddy product. Guess time will tell that story. So far as "bling" is concerned, there is nothing wrong with a person finding some pleasure in aesthetic. Whether it means everything to them or not.
