Thank you! I'm so conflicted about this subox. I've been waiting for a Kbox mini with adjustable pin for so long that I'm ready to get something else at this point.

I still want to try the Subtank V2 but those reports about leaks and now yours about the short post make me nervous.
I have had zero issues with it aside from the post. I am in love with it, plus it helped me quit the stinkies. From what I've been reading on this forum, there isn't many pieces of gear that someone hasn't experienced difficulty with.

A spinner and ce4 is %1000 better than smoking.

Congratulations on quitting ;)

Thanks brother! Two months this past Friday. I effing love this forum too!

Alright! In no time at all it will be a year passed and then it just flies by.

This forum is a great place, especially in the beginning. It feels so right to have so many great people genuinely be in your corner while transitioning from smoker to vaper.

Here's to your first two months and many more to come ;)

Hi Mod! Long time! :)

Sorry about your troubles. Is it your rba or the pre-made coils that leak?
Hiya Kat! It has been awhile. Hope all has been well.

It's the stock 1.5 ohm atty head. It worked fine for 2 days and then when the battery issue started, the tank draining happened. Makes no sense to me as I'm certainly not new to this and it's a fairly simple tank. Everything is tightened well, but not over tightened. IDK, maybe bottom cap is somehow faulty. Beats me. lol

Hey all! Wanted to report that I received my two new RBA decks and they are good to go.

hi guys - new to the forum and new to vaping - finally made it through this thread (1 week - good thing I am in charge of monitoring the internet usage at work :) ) ... naturally after I had already bought the black mini starter kit. 6 weeks into it - I am not smoking analogs anymore, vaping on .5 OCC coils in the low 30s and absolutely loving it. 2 questions - there was a brief discussion about taking this mod on airplanes and leaking - what is the best way of going about this? empty the tank completly? I am personally not yet to a point where I enjoy flavors other than tobacco (and having a hard time finding any that are realistic) - any suggestions?

Also - thank you blivey for starting this thread, I had a really good time working my way through - even though I despise anything cat :)

I never bring full tanks on an airplane trip--any tank can leak. And since you can't vape on a plane anyway, it's not a big deal. If you absolutely have to have some nic, like on a longer flight, get some Nicorette or Swedish snus. Or bring a cartomizer with you--they are less likely to leak--just be very discreet about it.

Realistic? Nope. There aren't any. Many vapers like some type of RY4 (tobacco, vanilla and caramel blend). There are also some nice menthol flavors--if you like menthols, that is.

working my way through the Black Note Notebook right now - the sonata juice is the best I have tried so far - not 100% sure it is 300% better than the local B&M juice though...

Hi mate, and congrats for quitting!

I am the guy taking the Subox with me on planes every week. :D The best approach is to keep the device BOTTOMS UP during the ASCENT (climb) phase, when they decrease the cabin pressure - that's when the air in the tank tries to find its way out (higher pressure inside the tank than outside). On the descent, the air from outside is trying to get IN, so no chance for leakage but exactly the opposite. The most important detail is that you have to make sure that at least one of the wick "windows" is clear of liquid to allow the air to flow.

The only time I had a leak was when I accidentally put the device in normal (upright) position, but even then it was not so bad.

We just added the Blue Subox mini to the collection, my guess is a white one is next, unless they make a mini in purple, my girlfriend doesn't like the Nanos that much. Threw a Mad Hatter on the black subox, and run my mini and Nano tanks off my istick. But now with 3 suboxs, we haven't had any issues with them.
