[HASHTAG]#PAO[/HASHTAG] and [HASHTAG]#LIA[/HASHTAG] tank Christmas-sy combo for our subbox mini

My tanks had arrived and already painted the buttons green.

I haven't receive my green and black O rings and also the green drip trip from fasttech.

What do you guys think should about the Lime green tank? Cause I'm thinking to get another tank which is green that will match close to the buttons and drip tip.
Wow, nice. My colors too. :thumb: I'm really surprised/disappointed that no tanks, not even the Goblin, come in lime green. Lots of drippers, but no RTAs. The Goblin Mini with green glass kit maybe, but then you'd still have to contend with the base and top cap (or see if the glass kit fits the regular Goblin in black). Other than that, maybe a green bell cap on something or just more paint.

I use an inexpensive Troll RDA on my Subox mod. It may be hit or miss, but at least some RDAs work.

I have the new Velocity and it reads all 9 s. Will not fire. I paid 50 dollars for the tank and mod. I think Kanger should stop shipping them and should fix it immediately with spring loaded pin. It is such a quality design, but It just doesn't mach other's quality. I was thinking of buying a heat sink accessory from Fast tech

Maybe I'm out in left field, but this unit was designed around the Subtank. Should they have considered the floating pin for use on other atomizers, maybe. I know I'll hear all the, but this mod will accept everything and the kanger just sucks. Maybe they dropped the ball a little, or maybe they expected people to use this kit as is with the Subtank. I believe their initial target was new vapers or vapers moving up from ego style stuff, the people who may not have tons of other tanks etc.

Right on! I think they did a great job considering that this is their first box release. They are also updating it based on community feedback. It does what it is supposed to do for less than $100 even if you include juice and a battery.

They may have designed it for newbies, but this is a really nice, seemingly decently built for the money, inexpensive and very small footprint/ergonomic single 18650 50W mod that, at least so far, does not have a rep for blowing up or becoming an incendiary device.

I don't consider myself a newbie but I bought one, love it and am thinking of a second, but I would like a floating pin for more compatibility for future toppers. I guess Kanger figured that out :)

The only issue I have so far is my black paint job, which already looks well used and well loved. Which it has been, and I willingly give that up in exchange for essentially the $30 I paid (figuring the STM was worth $30 too)

I have an interesting twist on the floating pin problem. I don't think I've had anything not work on the Kbox Mini I got with the Subox kit, but I don;t have that much to put on it. However...

I have 3 STMs. One an original with only 1 AF sslot (or hole). The second has a 2 hole AF , similar (identical I think?) to the one in the Subox kit but it came with the old RBA and horizontal factory coils. The third is the Subox, of course.

One of those tanks WILL NOT read properly on either of my ohmmeters. Both ohmmeters are the usual black boxes with a 510 for the tank and an ego/510 kind of thing for a battery.

On one ohmmeter it will read correctly if I tighten juuuust so, and then short out if I tighten it enough to actually get a good reading. The range it will read properly is miniscule and too lose to trust a good connection. On the other ohmmeter I think it reads open regardless how it is tightened. Yet if works fine on the Subox mod, my iStick 50W and my two Provaris. I've looked carefully at the STM's 510 and cleaned it out with a piece of coil wire. I can't figure out why it shorts in the one ohmmeter.

Any ideas? Anyone had a similar problem with any of the STMs? (can't recall which one does that now, I need to retest and note that).

Are those Phiniac glasses? If you are looking for something a little more vivid that won't lose its color check out Spectrum Tanks - Home they have colored pyrex tanks, not coated ones. Their colors are amazing.

Yes, it is from phiniac. Probably I will get to order the green one to have the same green as my buttons. Thanks!

OK, here's a new problem. A friend of mine bought a black Subox kit and he likes it a lot. In fact, he bought a second one as a backup, because he travels a lot. Since the FAA will not allow PVs to be stored in luggage, he has to carry them on with him. He took an airline trip recently with both Subox kits, one ~half full of juice and the other one empty. While in the air he noticed that the Subox with the juice in it was leaking, presuming due to the altitude change. When he arrived home, that same AFC continues to leak. On his next trip, he used the other Subox kit and now both AFCs leak. (too much of a coincidence) I don't travel much, but a few weeks ago I took a car trip over a 5K ft. mountain pass and my SS Subtank Mini leaked a little, but now that I'm back home, it's not leaking at all. I don't think the black/white AFC is available for purchase separately, but when it is he's planing of getting the AFC replaced. Has anyone else had this type of problem with their Subox kits? Heard of anyone that's had this problem?

I recently did a round trip that involved 5 hops. I brought several STMs, the Subox, and a Provari. I had no leakage in flight or afterward. I was very happy since I had heard about leakage problems. I think I may have traveled with only one tank with juice. I filled the tank(s) as full as possible since it is the air inside the tank that changes compression due to effective altitude changes.

I'm guessing that he had the tank upright with liquid in it. The pressure change forced liquid out the bottom and the path it took is still there.

Empty the tanks before flying. Or keep them upside down so the air can get out.

I like to use other tanks and rba's on all my mods. They obviously were being selfish and made it to only work with Tanks. lol Spring loaded pins should be on EVERY mod ever released in 2015. I own a Tugboat A mutation X Many more... Noon work with the kanger mini K box. They sell the kbox separately and people are buying them thinking they are buying a quality Mod from a quality company. Do you think Eleaf or Sigelei make mods just for the tanks they make? No! It chips and looks like a crap in a week of purchase. We have to be honest or they are just gonna keep making .... products for us. Edit LMFAO BTW ''C-R-A-P'' is a swear word

So....this happened. Probably not a good idea to leave me alone with a fresh roll of camo duct tape. All I needed was a small strip to adjust the airflow on the Goliath. Now neither will scratch my table.

That looks sweet...just don't lose it in the woods!
