I like to use other tanks and rba's on all my mods. They obviously were being selfish and made it to only work with Tanks. lol Spring loaded pins should be on EVERY mod ever released in 2015. I own a Tugboat A mutation X Many more... Noon work with the kanger mini K box. They sell the kbox separately and people are buying them thinking they are buying a quality Mod from a quality company. Do you think Eleaf or Sigelei make mods just for the tanks they make? No! It chips and looks like a crap in a week of purchase. We have to be honest or they are just gonna keep making .... products for us. Edit LMFAO BTW ''C-R-A-P'' is a swear word
My Mutation X V3 works fine.

They only sell the mod separately to registered owners of Subtank Minis, says so right on the box. You have to send DNA samples and pictures of you and your Subtank for verification.

I can't disagree with you nor do I want to argue, just making observations from my end. Kanger hit a home run with this thing, maybe they'd have sold more units with the spring loaded pin. I'm happy as hell with my V1 and I'm proud to have gotten on at the ground floor.

If you're that unhappy with yours, I'll buy it from you.,

Today, Sweet-vapes got in the Subtank mini RBS deck plus for $7.95. This is definitely the newest version with the large wick holes and no juice channels.

The ones from MVS are definitely the newest version, like I said, the picture has not been updated. I had signed up for an "out of stock" email alert for the RBA mini plus, got the email this morning, ordered one and got an order confirmation that states it's the new one. It really doesn't matter, both vendors are great. It's only a buck cheaper at MVS.

There is a small oring under the rba. Maybe it got dislodged.

My friend uses the pre-built coils and even after swapping coils, it didn't help. Going back to my original question, yes I know that altitude pressure can cause a Subtank to leak. The real question is, can the "altitude event" cause permanent damage, such that when back to normal pressure, it still leaks. That is the problem my friend is having.

I would take it completely apart and clean it with alcohol then let it dry for 24 hours. This should allow the orings to expand back to their original size and maybe that will do the trick. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Wicking too light? Flooding? I had the new 1.5 vertical coil in a very old Subtank and it continually flooded, all seals in tact . I never remedied the problem, just wrote off the old tank.

Well it ain't leaking through the metal or glass...;)

would have to know where its leaking from to really try and fix the issues, honestly it need to stripped down 100% clean all the o-rings.... wash it out, dry it. then try to put it all back together

Where'd you see that, Super K? I've been looking at listings for the mod alone and haven't seen that as a condition anywhere. (GearBest, FT, CigaBuy, Sweet-Vapes, Wholesale Vapes...mostly pre-orders). Does it only come into play if you have warranty issues?
