I can run my AeroTank mega at 11 watts (using my MVP2) without a dry hit at least if the coil is reasonably new. It's pretty much the same for me with the Nautilus using either the BDC or the BVC coils, I can hit on them at 11 watts when they're new, but with either manufacturers coils, as they age they will all start to taste like dirty wet carpets if I vape at anything higher than about 9 or 9.5W, but only after they've been used rather extensively. New ones seem to work out fine at 11W if I care to actually vape that high, some days I do, but most days I stay in the 9 to 9.5W range. To me, it also depends on the e-liquid. Some e-liquids when vaped at 11W or 5V will taste like dirty wet carpets even on a brand new Kangertech or Aspire coil.
