Great video. As always, you were very informative. I think I'll have to pass on this first edition unless improvements are made. It seems like it would be more of a hassle than filling CE2s. Granted, it's nice to be able to see how much liquid you have in the tube, but if you've been using the standard cartos for long enough you pretty much know when it's time for a top off. Hopefully they take into account your recommendations, but until then I don't think I'll bite.

The space between the o-ring and the tip is probably there to retain any excess liquid.
The ego-t tanks have a similar chamber at the mouthpiece. when liquid manages to get up the air-vents, it usually ends up there, instead of directly in the mouth.

Yes, but with my suggestion, that could be eliminated. Any condensation would have to remain in the main tank using my idea.

I would definitely buy them right now to try it out, then after they perfect them using my suggstions, I would just buy more.

Video coming tonight (maybe in two hours)...it's 16 minutes long...I scanned it for places to cut...but I felt like this is the first word on this product so I didn't want to cut anything.

Great video Sense Field! These things do look promising. It looks like it would be fairly easy to replace the tube with a syringe tube if you could find one with the correct inside diameter. I'd also like to see these in a longer version...

It's not rocket science for them to simply extend the center tube and make the end-cap a thicker one-piece design. Also, they need to just spend the extra bit of money to make these a stainless steel tube with a see-thru window as I said before. The base could be a uni-body design to avoid any chance of leakage, and the stainless wont crack.

What about a glass tube?

It would break if you dropped it.

Metal with a window is the way to go here...I have some prefilled versions that have stickers on them with a window cut out...I'll upload them here later...but it basically illustrates what they would look like made of metal with a window.

That would be cool...but I see a potential leaking problem with the window

That would mean any overwicking would mean you ended up with juice in your mouth.
(It's not only for the condensation)

The condensation is only forming because the vapor has to pass through that gap between the seal and the end piece. A one-piece design would eliminate that gap, and thus the forming of condensation, as well as provide more space for more juice.

As for "juice in your mouth due to overwicking": There should not be any overwicking in this design if it's working properly, and even if there is, it would still end up in your mouth with the current 2-piece design, just maybe not quite as much.
