New Luna is dead ? Asmodus help me !

My Luna is sick
I just got it 11/7
I think the chip is fried

...and I have only been using it for a week since the filler up bottle things arrived

It was just fine and I refilled it.
Press the button and it blinks green 5 times and won't fire.
Remove the atty, check it out on the meter even tho it was the same one that was on it.
Reads just fine.
Put it back on, press the button, 5 green blinks.
Remove the battery, replace it with another...same thing.
Remove and reinstall atty...same thing.
Different atty...same thing.
Another battery...same thing.

Left it for the night (without a battery in it).

This morning same thing BUT - now it blinks green 5 times and goes to blue and shuts off.
Over and over again and again.



batteries have no burrs or bits.
Terminal inside of mod looks fine, q-tip doesn't catch on anything.
Q-tipped out the 510 connection really good in case the filler bottle thing left a shaving...
Still not good.

Is it still under warranty? I'd contact the vendor and either get another one or a refund. Sounds like you got a lemon.

Sorry to hear your Luna went a bit loony @classwife , hopefully @Asmodus_Nikko comes on soon and can help you out.
I know Asmodus are busy at an Expo this weekend so if you don't hear back soon maybe shoot customer support an email, they are very helpful.
I hope you manage to get it all sorted out

So what it sounds like is a solder joint might be disconnected and shorted out your device where did you purchase the device from? and how long have you had it?

It arrived 11/7 from Sourcemore.
(I thought I got it straight from Asmodus, but that was my Colossal)
...I had only been using it for a week tho as I had been waiting for the filler up bottle thing to arrive.

Have you tried contacting sourcemore yet?

If you have not contacted them they have their own warranty policies and should be able to replace your device with a completely new device!
