New M400 atomizer

Anyone have any input on the new M400 atomizer? It has a plastic support bridge rather than a metal one and the metal wick is much larger. I have been dripping on mine all morning. While it gives a clean tasting hit and many more of them the vapor is less and the auto cutoff kicks in more often. Also I can barely see the coil so determining performance and condition is hampered. Anyone else have comments on this "Upgraded" atomizer?

Where did you get the atomizer from?

I have an M402 on order, so I'd like to see what kind of atomizer I get. Maybe the plastic bridge is working as an insulator instead of heat sink, causing the temperature cutoff to kick in earlier?

I sure hope the atomizers I get are decent.

The atomizer is from eastmall in China. It came in a box identical to the ones I ordered from PureSmoker a month ago. The new atomizer does not fully seat on my old batteries either but still works.

I have found the airflow is more restricted in the new one. It took a little time to adjust my drag to get a good pull. I have been getting good vapor now. It takes a lot more juice each time I drip but lasts longer too. I think this new style might work better with a cartridge. I think I will try one now...

The cartridge works much better with this new atomizer. It gives a light, smooth hit with plenty of vapor. The auto shutoff kicks in quite a bit though. The larger surface area of the metal wick seems to help prevent juice from getting into the mouthpiece. I problem that I always had.

I have the same atomizer, it came with my M-401 from Absolutelyecigs so I am assuming this is the new standard since they are the manufacturers. Draws the carts very well I must say.
