My name is Stephanie. I smoked cigarettes for 40 years, started when I was 11, and a little over 2 years ago, I quit with a cigalike and have been vaping ever since. I'm currently using a simple eGo style with a top fill clearomizer. I was using bottom fills with replaceable coils, but I couldn't find one that didn't leak.

Anyway, I have a question. I'm thinking about buying the new Joyetech eGo AIO Pro C. I love that it's a top fill and is compatible with a variety of replacement coils. I'm hoping that it really is leak proof. I also love that the battery is replaceable as well. But I don't know anything about 18650 batteries and the information relative to the best choice for this unit is inconsistent. Some sites, that are selling the Pro C, recommend 10A~20A while others recommend a higher drain rate of 25A+. I don't know what I should plan on getting, since the battery isn't included.

Has anyone purchased or had the chance to try this unit? My current battery set up is over a year old. I tried a VV but it broke very quickly. This AIO seems to be a sturdier set up. Any advice greatly appreciated.

High drain are always a better choice for vaping. I recommend the Samsung 25r. Very reliable and long battery life.
No tank will ever be truly leak-proof. But I have heard these are as close as they get. The Cubis that they are based on are very trustworthy.
Thank you. I've read good things about the Cubis and the Cubis coils can be used in this unit. I know that nothing is ever truly leak proof, but I'm really tired of getting covered in juice, lol.

I have a related question: are you referring to the Samsung 25R5 (green wrap)? How does it compare to the Sony VTC5A? I've looked at the battery tests and from them, it would appear that the VTC5A would be a better choice. However, a lot of people like the Samsung. And are there reputable dealers where you can be sure the batteries will be authentic? I'm sure there are... just looking for direction. Thanks

I must say, the Pro-C only addresses 1 of the 2 major drawbacks of the AIO system.
As a standalone device, sure, why not?
Actually, thinking about it, does it offer flexible power?
Basically it's still a NO from me. Cheap but too compromised.
Seriously *there are regulations to consider* - backing yourself into a corner with this sort of hardware as a primary device is not recommended.
(Harsh but true imo)
Given the 'climate';
Separate tanks
Replaceable battery mods
Batteries & chargers
Tanks with full rebuild or rebuild option

Don't let the zombies get you!

Nice! I love my little AIO. I did not realize they had introduced one with a removable battery. I just may have to add one of those to my seemingly growing collection.

To answer the original question. I switched from an ego style to the AIO and wish I had made the switch sooner. I think that you will be thrilled with it. I have not had any leaking problems whatsoever. You may want to purchase some other coils to try to find your sweet spot. I found that I like the 1.0 ohm coils but I have read that others like the 1.5 ohm.

I will say that my love of the AIO prompted me to move on upward so be ready :) I still carry my AIO for times when I need something to fit nicely into my pocket.

2 of my neighbors just quit using cigalikes.
I tried to "upgrade" them with evod kit but they didn't want it LOL

I don't have the AIO pro but I have a few regular AIOs.......the batteries will add some weight to it, and the lightweightness of the AIO is what I like about it, so probably won't upgrade. It is topfill and doesn't leak at all. Threw it in purse, in suitcase, etc. No problems.

Imagine the upgraded version w/separate batts would be similar.

I haven't tried the VTC5A. The VTC5 had a faster drop off than many others and while the VTC4 lasted longer at peak power, it had a higher internal resistance. They might have fixed the issues by now. I just know my 25r set from 2 years ago will still last nearly all day. LG HE4 also tested about the same or better but within a year they are now only lasting 4-5 hours.
Samsungs are so readily available I haven't heard of fakes going around...Another reason I started avoiding Sony. I usually try to buy local, but any bigger site like Altsmoke or Dash Vapes will be verifying their stock.
