First off, hello everyone
.
I've been a smoker for about 20 years. And throughout the years I have slowly tried to ween myself off of cigarettes. So now I smoke the lightest cigs that I can find (Carlton). Well recently I just had my second child. And I realize I need to quit in order for me to be around to raise them.
Recently, on another forum, someone suggested e-cigs as a way to at least remove the carcinogens, and even quite possibly a way to quit nicotine altogether. I have some questions.
First off, I know nicotine is a poison, that doesn't bother me. What I'm more concerned about is the actual inhalation of a vapor. Are there any long term effects from inhaling the vapor?
Also, are the low nicotine cartridges low enough? I would hate to get them and find out that they're actually stronger than the cigs that I actually smoke.
What do they taste like? Do they actually taste like a cigarette? I wouldn't bother with the flavored cartridges since I hate flavored tobacco.
The e-cigs I was looking at getting were the blu's. Is this a good brand? Are there better ones that are more real? Money is not too much of a concern but it is somewhat, moreso in case I absolutly hate these things. I would hate to spend over $100 and not even use it.
Well I guess that about sums it up.
Thanks,
-Omega.
