Hey guys,

I am new to ECF and PV's in general, just got my Joye 510 kit today. Enjoying it so far, modded the blank carts I got with this mod and tried dripping which have both worked out great (the prefilled carts did not work well for me however).

My main question is this: Is it safe for me to store the atty with a cart on in in my PCC? I am just worried about the bridge being in constant contact with the juice filled filler of the cart I modded.

<snip> A wet atty is a happy atty....

Watch it pal.... I do have fun when I go swimming tho.

The atty CAN flood. When I leave my carts (recently filled) on the atty, and set the PV down, it sometimes floods. I can't really speak to the PCC issues, but flooding is flooding from the atty's perspective. Just blow the extra juice out into a napkin or paper towel. I usually try to vape a cart for a bit before I leave it. I'm also direct dripping mostly now, so 10 hits and it's depleted anyway.

Good luck.

When you say store the atty, how long are you talking about? There are lots of threads and methods for prolonging atty life and you may want to take a look at those. Atties aren't that expensive, but I'd recommend taking off the cart and at least blowing it out if you aren't going to use it for a long time. It's also recommended by many to store the atty battery side up. I drip pure PG in and blow it out again as a nightly routine and it's really helped keep my atties from clogging up.

Well, I'd say it's not stored that long, at least right now while I am still in my vaping honeymoon period. I will check out the threads.

The first day is going great, I've had friends who have had problems with PV's (mostly performance issues due to a lack of info) in the past, but hopefully all this research I have been doing will help them enjoy it more too.

Thanks for the welcome and all of the advice. I went to order some more juice, and I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices (ended up getting RY5 and Fuzzy Navel from FreedomSmokeUSA). Any other suggestions for my next order?

One more question. How many carts should I have if I want to rotate between 2 or three flavors? I am assuming at least one per flavor right?
