Hello my name is Alexia, Nice to meet you :)
So i am on the hunt for a good e cigg and need help. I tried the logic e cigg, and I know they are crappy, but I just wanted to see how they worked, I was not impressed. That stupid cigg, you have to suck so hard to get anything and after the first hit, you cant feel a thing its like sucking in air!
So here is the thing, i have been doing some research and i was thinking about trying the eGo twist. But, I want to get my mom and her boyfreind on the e cigg bandwagon (her boyfriend is down with the idea my mom not so much) so i want to make sure i get something that will lure them in as well lol.
I just dont know what to buy, it cant be too expensive. Should i go with the cartomizer set up? Or the atomizer? Or the clearomizer? I have no clue!
The eGo twist with the clearomizer twist on thing seems quite appealing to me, but is it a good buy? Will it lat long enough? I am out on the train systems and buses for a long time, (maybe 6hrs).
What about the V2 starter kit? That seemed pretty interesting. But, it looks like one of the smaller ones, I dont want to start off with lower quality ones b/c i cant. I got one shot at getting a good set up as i cant afford to try out different ones unfortunately :(
What websites do you recommend buying from?
I think the most important thing for me is going to be the throat hit and the amount of vapor (as the logic i just tried produces neither and it is not satisfying in the least)

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to me :)

You're going to get a lot of good recommendations from the members and your questions are really good, a fine post, imho. You're on the right track with the Twists. A good clearomizer or cartomizer will work well for you. I'll stop there for now as I gotta go, but sincere welcome aboard, good luck, happy shopping and Vape On!

An Ego Twist with a clearomizer is the perfect route I think. You should probably get two of them, so you have one as a backup just so you don't run out of battery life during the day. Once you fall in love, like I know you will...Then just gift one to your mom and order your Vamo...That basically my story over 3 weeks of vaping.

The ego twist is definitely not a bad way to go. My advice would be to go strait for a vamo simply because of the fact that your on here doing your research. Which indicates to me that you'd be upgrading to something with a little more oomph soon enough anyway. Plus id rather carry around a spare 18650 than a whole other twist

fasttech.com if you don't mind a 10 day or so wait. Order a set of two 900's , 1100's, or 1300's. Will cost you 17 to 21 bucks for the kit which includes two of the aforementioned batteries, case, and charger and a couple of cheap clearomizers....... $17.51 EGO-AS 6-in-1 USB Rechargeable 900mAh Electronic Cigarettes Health Keeping Set - black / US plug adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The batteries will last a few months.

The hardest part to me is the atomizer, cartomizer, or whatever you put on the top of the battery. I would suggest a kanger Protank if your not clumsy ( they have seal problems and screw on threads that like to break if dropped a couple of inches...but...they have a superior vape at the 3.7 volts that those batteries are putting out. They can be purchased at fasttech also for 15 bucks... get two.

might I suggest a LR (low resistance) (1.5 ohm) drip type atomizer from MYVAPOSTORE for asbout 5.00 bucks each. Its called the 306 and it hits extremely hard and lasts a long time. Clean these in alcohol about once a week (90% or better) for Vodka for 15 mins and wash with water and let air dry for 24 hours before using again.

Thats my two cents.. I have tried all the cheap clearomizers from fasttech and other stores and they all suck including the iclear 16's and 30's. You can get about ten of the cheap tanks for about 10 bucks but they are crap, hard to draw a vape and taste burnt withing a day or so.
Many folks like the old kanger but they don't draw quite as good as the Pro tank, but are better than most all others.... the old kangors leak until you figure out that every one of them are leaking at the seal that is around the atomizer/wick/coil assembly new from the factory... if you learn to push that seal on the shaft right 9 get it seated correctly, it does a good job. Its easy, but someone needs to show you what I'm talking about.

This is the best, cheapest advice I can give. Good luck

Thank you for the in depth response. How long do you think these batteries will last i mean, how long in between charges?

I would really recommend the ego twist or smoktech winder for a battery. For a clearomizer I would recommend an evod.

As for how long the battery lasts depends mainly on 3 things. The mah of the battery, how much you use it, and the voltage the battery is set at. For mah, basically the higher the number the longer it will last. For the voltage the higher to voltage the faster it will need a recharge. I am a pretty heavy vaper and a 1100 mah ego twist will last me about 8-10 hours.

I see your in boston, So if you want to check out a local place Eastern Vapor in Saugus is a good shop. I got my 1st ego twist there.

Hope that helps.
