New member intro.

Hi All,

I'm new to vaping. I just started around 3 weeks ago. My wife asked me to get her an e-cig to use to stop smoking. I looked at all the info on the net before ordering. My work is going smoke free on their property in November so I thought I'd order an e-cig for me along with my Wifes. I ordered my Wife a 510 starter kit and a DSE 901 kit for me. In one week with the 901 I went from 2 packs a day down to NONE!!! I was and still am shocked by this. I did not get one to stop smoking, just to get by at work with. It has now been 2 weeks smoke free for me after over 30 years of smoking. This is a day I did'nt think I'd ever see. My Wife is down to 1/2 pack a day. My Wife has been up her Mother's helping her out since Mothers Day. If she was home I think she would be smoking a lot less. She only has one type of e juice with her and the 510 starter kit. I'm going up to get her on Sunday. (I have a new Silver Bullet for her.) In the past 2 weeks I've been spending a lot of time reading and a lot of money on mods. Just this past week I built my first modbox.

I just so HAPPY to say, I don't smoke any more!!!

Welcome to ECF and glad to hear that you quit the stinkies. Hopefully your wife will get to that point also. Let her try the box mod you made...you may just need to build another one for yourself...LOL.

It's really awesome that you were able to do this before even posting here! I wish you and your wife the best of luck and I hope my own experience (my starter kit will be here next week) is 10% as successful as yours has been

I did make a boxmod for my Wife out of a clear box with a pink led and a pink 510 atty w/pink drip tip for her. When she comes home on Sunday she wiill have the boxmod and a Silver Bullet with a LR atty to try.

They really are little miracle devices, and as far as hobbies go, they're very entertaining for that too. After all, we gotta have something to spend all that extra money on that we save from not smoking lol. I was just looking for something cheaper than cigs that acted like cigs because I couldn't afford them anymore and I figured I could do this to cut back on smoking, and I wasn't really planning on quitting because after trying EVERYTHING to quit I just came to terms with the fact that I was going to smoke forever. The day I got it, I didn't touch my smokes anymore, infact that same half a pack is still sitting on my shelf after over 6 weeks. I think of it as a trophy now Anyway, welcome to the forum!

My wife LOVES the fact I am vaping now. She was a bit "put off" at what I laid down (in the beginning) but she is pleased as punch now I am not smoking analogs anymore.
