buy from vendors who list their ingredients on their websites? my cartos have ingredients listed on the packaging so i dont know why they couldnt list this stuff on their website, especially if they're making it themselves.

I'm already guilty of derailing this thread. For which I feel very bad. I so much want to respond though. The issue with trying to list every ingredient has to do with the proprietary nature of the flavorings used. Often these small-business liquid manufacturers aren't completely sure whats in these pre-made flavorings themselves. In my DIY experiments trying to get this information from some flavoring manufacturers has been like pulling teeth. One of them is still ignoring me. Larger eliquid businesses, on the other hand, can contract to custom-flavor engineers who are more than willing to provide the details of the unique blends they concoct. Making it easier for them to list ingredients.

If you DIY you know darn well what's going into your juice because you're putting it there. That and vaping for pennies a day is full of win.

perhaps you're thinking of aspartame and saccharin? sucralose has only been approved for use in the US for 14 years and has only become popular in the last 5 years as all energy drinks besides red bull use it to sweeten their low calorie versions. it still isnt used in soda, besides a few off brands.
You mean like these off brands?

OOOOOOHHHH PSSSTTT BURRNNNNN!!!

Hey, the stuff was only tested for a very short time, there is a huge amount of material out there (google is your friend) that will tell you that you should avoid sucralose. You definitely don't want to be vaping this stuff, and it's crazy that they sell it as a sweetener DIY flavor.

diet coke w/splenda was a test product tried in a few markets. i would like to be able to buy it but its not available anywhere. pepsi one is very difficult to find. i would probably drink it occasionally if i were able to get it, though im not a big soda drinker. lets face it, well over 99.9% of the soda that coca cola and pepsi market under their brand names contains no sucralose. diet rite, rc cola, shasta, etc does have it. the other place where is is actually commonplace is in low calorie energy drinks, besides the one that holds the largest market share- red bull (diet red bull and red bull zero contain aspartame). the argument is about its safety, which we disagree on. trying to bring up the fact that you can find two products that contain it isnt. i am right in that regard. its used in energy drinks and off-brand soda. aspartame (diet) and HFCS (regular) are used in name brand soda. i agree that saccharin, aspartame, HFCS are very bad for you. i just happen to think sucralose is far better for you than all those three sweeteners. cane juice, honey and stevia are pretty much the only sweeteners that i would say are equal or better for you than sucralose. as far as vaping sucralose though, i have no idea. it probably isnt a good idea.

and one more thing about the name brand thing- i've had one can of diet coke with splenda and three 2 liter bottles of pepsi one in my entire life. admittedly, im not a big soda drinker but still having only had it those four times in my life despite the fact that i purposely seek out products with splenda over other sweeteners should tell you something about their availability.

I'm far too lazy to DIY my own e liquid, and judging from the flavors I've tried thus far, there is no way I could make anything as yummy. And then there's the 'why re-invent the wheel'? See? Lazy.

If everyone was like you we would still be using those square wheels that we started with! Lol
