First off my parents bought me a Blu kit about 2 months ago, and I have not craved a analog since. I have been running into a little bit of issues though, where it seems that each carto has varying amounts of e liquid in them. Some cartos have lasted me 2 days and some half a day (I tend to just take a few puffs here and there instead of a full session). I have read that people absolutely hate the Blu, because of many reasons, I am actually happy with it. I find the PCC very convenient since I am out of the house from 8am to 9:45 pm because of work and school.

I do know that I would prefer a carto system since my blu is always in my pocket, and my pcc is always in my backpack, and I have heard that tanks do leak. I don't want e liguid getting on my HW or my calculator.
Also I would like to fill and refill my own cartos.
I also like the size of blu, so something similar to it would be preferred.
I am ok with manual batteries, since I figure it would help prevent battery damage from a novice (me) over filling a carto.

Given my preferences what other pvs should I look into?
I have looked around and it seems that a lot of the other PVs like ego t, and 510 seem to be a lot bigger than the blu.

Egos are bigger than the blu but not unpocket friendly. The are going to give you better battery life and a better vape. I always suggest them to friends that want to get into vaping. From there you have a wide variety of options. One set up I carry on the job is a ego with a xxl single coil ego from Hoosier e cig. They hold a lot of juice and normally last me a few days.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about the twist. I have not heard up or down on durability. I drop my PV a lot, so I need something a bit more bulletproof.

I have a Provari V2. If you know that you will be vaping for years, it's a great investment. It's worth every penny.

But, if you don't have a couple hundred to lay down, check this out:

If you can find 306 refillable cartomizers, you can use those on the Blu and fill with your own juice. I used them when I started and they were nice on the Blu. Then if you decide to go bigger battery they can work on most 510 connection items like an ego also. I can't remember how a 510 cartomizer worked on the Blu. I only remember liking the 306s.

is an ego twist an ego t?

ego twist is just a battery that has variable voltage, can be coupled with just about any delivery option you want

the ego t is a standard ego (non variable) battery that comes as a kit with a tank tip setup

looooots of reviews out there on both here and youtube of both... beware: watching reviews becomes an addiction in itself lol

I was thinking about trying this route first. I actually just tried the taryn spin on 7 of the burnt tasting cartos, and was able to refill one of my completely empty cartos. I am letting sit for a while before I see if it worked.

Yeah though, I will try one round of blanks for the blu, and if I am unsatisfied I will look into the ego twist. Thanks everyone.

Trust me I know, I have been reading this forum for the past 4 days trying to figure the perfect set up for myself.

Smokeless image volt is very popular for cig sized ecigs. I'm going to recommend the ego setups though. Twist is good but really any ego is better than cigalikes. Good battery life and puts out good power. Mini vivinova is a decent tank that wont leak but like others have said cartos will fit really anything with a 510 connection will fit. Its a lot cheaper to buy juice and fill your own stuff those packs of blu cartos are hard on the wallet imo.

Blus are a 510 connection just putting that out there

I think I am going to go this route, since I feel like my blu would be more acceptable then other PVs on campus and at bars. For my around the house one though, or just going to a friends house, I think I am going to mod a pipe. Now I just need to wait for my paycheck so that I can start the build.
