The visions 1300 mah spinner is great I have two of them, they last me about 36 hours before having to charge them with a carto tank on or a slb clearo. Im a moderate vaper, meaning I dont chain vape and I use my spinner at about 3.5- 3.8 most of the time. joyetech is great but they dont have any above 1000 mah, the numbers arent as readable and there is a little red line on the dial on the spinner so you always know where its at in voltage. The spinner battery is about the same price as the joyetech.

Ahh my mistake. I could have sworn the spinner only came in 650 and 900. Was thinking of the other non Joyetech twists out there.
Nice to know about the dial on the spinner, never really looked at one up close. That definitely is my one gripe about the twist. I'll have to try out a spinner now. ;D

The only people that I would ever recommend vaping to are current smokers looking for a way to quit, or former smokers who are fighting to stay off, and looking for an alternative. Never, would I EVER, suggest vaping to a non-smoker...

I definably agree with this. Very well worded. I actually touched on this in that long reply that I wasn't able to post.

There are some off brands that make sub par products. Joye and Vision are known for putting out quality stuff. Personally I have also been very happy with my Smoktech passthrough.

Variable voltage adjusts the voltage. What setting you want it at varies depending on the resistance of your atomizer. Variable wattage adjusts power, which should in theory maintain your sweet spot between different atomizers with different resistances.

The Spinner is a Vision product that is a variable voltage eGo battery. A lot of people tend to prefer them to the eGo Twist because it is easier to adjust the voltage and they are available in a higher capacity. I own a Spinner and love it.

In my opinion there is no such thing as the best.

There is the best for you, if you are just starting out then the best option would be to go for one of the EGO stile VV batteries.Ego Twist/Kgo VV,Spinner

And a clearomizer like CE4,5 Kanger T3 or a Vivi nova tank(which are basically the same idea), when you are ready to go further you can research and decide if you want to buy a mod and other things, since this a world of its own, and you are only starting i don't advice going for the advanced stuff right off the bat, since these might bring alot of frustration and get you back to analogs.

Hi,
I was at a similar situation, willing to get a good vaporizer, little budget constraint, wanted to get a good one rather than upgrading it later etc.
After some extensive research on e-cigarette-forum posts, it boiled down to choosing between a provari and a VAMO, the latter being considerably cheaper and providing the same functionality, yet provaris being better built and better looking, and by all accounts worth their higher price tag.

I decided to go with VAMO and keep some of my money, and have been immensely satisfied with my VAMO (purchased from Smoktek) so far. Nothing against provaris, they ARE rock-solid, better looking, considered by most vaping veterans the best mass produced vaporizer around money can get, but don't see myself needing/getting a provari anytime soon, gun metal VAMOs look good enough to me and proved rugged enough too after 2 months of intensive, at times abusive use.

I have (or have had) a lot of PV's in the last two years. IMO there are three that stand out from the crowd, and they have two things in common.
#1 you would have to work overtime to bust one of them.
#2 they are US made, and have great customer service.

Below is an easy setup that I recommend for beginners or mid-level vapors alike. I don't like recommending individual "starter kits" as they often have parts that are not brand named, or devices that are not the lastest version, or just not useful for a beginner to start out with. The following gear can be obtained from two separate vendors at a reasonable cost. Many less expensive "starter kits" aren't really cheaper in the long run if the parts are inferior or old school technology.

Mah rating refers to the length of time a battery will retain its charge under normal use. 1 hour is equal to 100 mah. For example 600 mah will last 6 hours, 1000 mah will last 10 hours.

    Nicotine E-liquid:

Most vapors consume 3 - 5 ml of liquid a day. A good starting nicotine strength for a pack a day smoker is 18 - 24 mg. If given a choice, a 50/50 pg/vg ratio is good to start with. It is wise to pick vendors who offer flavor sampler packs; this way you can try a multiple flavors that the vendor offers without wasting money on larger bottles that you may not care for, should you find some winners order more in a larger size.

Sounds like excellent advise to Me.
