Yeah I've got the air flow right open but still seems pretty hot. Unsure why as my cool looks almost identical to the factory ones that came with tank so I can't work out the difference. I would imagine the battery should be ok hopefully it's from a respected vendor locally he sells the highest quality American import juices as well as kanthol cotton etc so I'm hoping the battery's will be of the same quality

Unfortunately, I don't have any reliable battery sources in the UK. Maybe @djsvapour could help us out here... he is one of the members here that lives in the UK and is quite knowledgeable on vape gear.

Thanks for the heads-up @Kaezziel

Ecolux (ebay) or Torchy.
Torchy is Member ID big_f_d_d (ebay)

Samsungs are all over the place. People have long-since given up on Efests.
Sony VTC4s are on sale.

My last pair were from Ecolux. I also got some off Torchy himself at Vapefest.

Brilliant thanks for all the help! I guess my next question is I really love the fruity flavours especially tropical ones not a fan of the dessert flavours. Do you guys have any recommendations on which brands and flavours are worth a try?

Hmm, tough one.
My favorite liquid vendor (LT e-cigs) isn't great at fruity vapes. Good (and better than the high street crud) but not top notch. You could try a couple, you never know.
Now - most 'brands' are to be avoided. The biggest names in UK e-cigs (the one google finds) sell the worst liquid. Cheap, mass produced garbage.
Some of them say "made in the UK" and charge £4.99 and then make it with Chinese ingredients.

However, a purely e-liquid brand like
Chefs Vapour, Grizwald, Alchemists cupboard (very good citrus) sell great liquids.
Or you can go "US" liquids, Avail, Nicoticket, Cosmic fog.

I would say give Alchemists a try for most of the fruits.

Hi I'm new here so just looking for some general advice!

I've recently bought a kangertech k box mini using the mini sub tank.

I've just started building the rba and I'm getting .4 ohms and it's running on 2.5v is this a safe and acceptable thing to do?

All help is welcome but I'm not to clued up on all the technical jargon so the dummy's guild will do!

Thanks
My current build us. 79 ohms.

Yes Kanger is stable down to .2 or. 3.

The only thing you need visvsolud batteries btyst cal handle the low resistance

I use high drain batteries by Samsung and LG. SONY and Panasonic are good too. Avoid the batteries by efest.

After removing the stick I've revealed some writing! Finally a break through lol! It says INR 18650 25R Samsung SDI 5 2F83 so does this mean I'm safe? I've been using the vampire vapes as a basic juice to start with good flavour nice vapour production occasionally treating myself to a bottle of ruthless juice or mothers milk and occasion a brand called monkey something or other I can't quite remember the exact name lol

Yep, you're good with that battery. It is rated at a safe continuous current draw of 20A, check out SteamEngine and input your resistance and wattage... it'll give you the current draw. For me, personally with that battery, I'd keep it at or below 17A. Others have different opinions, so your mileage may vary.

As for juices, I'm a huge fan of fruit flavors and custards. The only UK juice I've tried was Totally Wicked... that was way back when I first started vaping. At the time, I thought it was pretty decent, but that was 5-6 years ago... I've had my eyes opened since then and have discovered a lot of tasty vapes. Check out Potion Vapes if you can find them, they have quite a few good fruit flavors. Suicide Bunny is good as well... but if you get the chance, treat yourself and pick up Teleos Cloud Science Alpha! It's a strawberry cotton candy flavor that I absolutely loved! Alas, for the past year or so I've been in my own little DIY world and haven't purchased any vendor juices... so I have no idea what's out there right now...

If you want a cooler vape with that RBA go up to 28 to 30awg and go for higher resistance and turn down the wattage. I build spaced coils and keep them above the air hole the same as the stock coils and vape 8 to 10w. If you want more cloud your gonna have more power and a warmer vape, it's a trade off. You can also try a taller tip.

I might have to check out the suicide bunny flavours we have them in the local vendors! I'm not so keen on the yoghurt flavours personally I find that the can get quite sickly myself! But I'm all for tropical/fruit flavours! I find the vintage vapour and space jam ones are real good! How complex is it to make your own juices? Not that I'll be trying that anytime soon I'm still trying to get my head around making my own coils so one step at a time! So will a contact coil still produce a good amount of vapour and work well at a sub ohm level?

I am so pleased to hear they are Samsungs.

Making your own juice isn't overly complicated unless you want it to be. There is an entire DIY forum section here at ECF. All you have to do is find a recipe that sounds good to you, get the ingredients, and mix them up. It really is that simple... if you want to create your own recipes, then it can get considerably more complex.

Yes, a contact coil is capable of producing more vapor than you could possibly handle... so can a spaced coil. It's all about wire gauge, total resistance, power applied, airflow, and lung capacity...

I've just attempted what I think may be a contact coil, more wraps and I've achieved a .5ohm outcome! Good vapour not to sure on the flavour as of yet but that may be due to a fresh wick so time will tell as far as that one is concerned!

I may have to look into making juices in the future as I'm trying to get my head around the whole rba subject at the moment and wouldn't like to over complicate things to quickly! The main reason I've attempted the whole rba thing is to save some money and also produce a better end product as I found the premade horizontal sub ohm coils to be pretty shoddy if I'm honest! I also kinda like the whole hobby side of it too! I'm finding it quite an interesting thing to learn about if im honest!
