HI! I am a new vaporer (?) and am trying to DIY. I already made a huge mistake I think. I bought already mixed premade with nic at E-liq.com. However that's not the mistake. I can vape that base no problems. What I really messed up is I bought their flavors too. In the nice large 1oz size to boot. I think these are crap. I've tried them at 5% and 20% and both seems really awful. I did steep them..but not a lot....they are still in a drawer sitting... I am still playing with them...but it might not ever come to fruition from what I read on here about their flavors. I think it tastes like rubbing alcohol no matter what esp. at the end of the vape. Gross feeling on my tongue.
What I am chasing is a Mocha from my local tobacco shop...Midwest Vapors to be exact. It's a little sweet, chocolate coffee, and a bit of creaminess. Really other than a Dirty Horchata I got from my friend who has a vape shop it's really the only flavor that I've come to like....she is many states away so it's not like I can go visit. My tobacco shop does NOT really carry fancy/complex ones you guys talk about on here..so I may like cheesecake or some other kind of bakery type of vape. I like sweet, but not candy sweet. I am planning on picking up some stevia to sweeten and perhaps some other (marshmallow?) flavor to help get me to the sweetness I like? eh?
I've been looking at LoAnn's , Capella's, and The Flavor Apprentice (mostly that last one because they have a mocha, which claims not to be sweet on their site)
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to start to get this flavor? Or try some other bakery type items? WWYD? This isn't as easy as I was hoping...price is an issue, I've already felt like I threw money down the drain with the flavors I have. What can't I screw up? LOL.
Also I don't know about dripping, but it seems that would be great to know about so I can try different flavors quickly instead of trying to clean between them. I have Kangertech T3s tanks and a Kanger Evod battery. Please point me in the direction of how to get there too.
I do have some glass bottles so I can do the crockpot method to quicker steep...because it seems my flavors will need it? Is there a bakery/sweet dessert type that will not need much steeping???
Thanks in advance, that was a long read.
