Hi All,

I've been lurking on the site for about a year now, although this is my first post because I have always found everything I needed just by searching on previous posts here and never could come up with something "new" to say.

Anyway, I love these forums! I do have a question though. I bought a Disposable 510 (auto batt) a few months ago and love it (after being quite loyal to the M401 which I still like). So I thought hey, a Joye 510 must be even better right? Well, my disposable is still working strong with great vapor, flavor, and throat hit - while my Joye needs to be recharged much more often and doesn't have the same oomph when it comes to throat hit especially. I am using the same e-liquids and use the PTB mod in both. Is there something I am doing wrong? Did I just get a faulty product? I have read that Joye 510 auto batteries are not as good as the manual batteries so I'm not sure if that's the issue.

Would welcome any thoughts. Thanks!

Manuals make it easier to get a good hit and Joye 510 manuals are totally sealed metal on the threaded end and safe from being damaged or killed by juice leaks. And most people who use 510 use cartomizers to vape their favorite juices. Boge are most popular and the slim 510 uses the 3 ohms ones.

My 510 gives me a better hit than my M401 did (both are manuals). Have you ever cleaned your atomizer?

I use juices high in PG to let the hit and flavor through well. I like 80PG/20VG or less VG in cartomizers and i can get 10 days use out of a Boge cartomizer. Nicotine is hit, PG lets the hit through better. but medium or high nicotine in 100% PG can cause skin irritation.

It could also be a voltage difference. I don't know what voltage your disposable puts out, but the Joye 510 is regulated at a lower voltage, helping it give a more consistant vape over the battery charge. The Joye atty has a lower resistance than most, 2.3 ohms, to make up for the lower voltage. Throw that atty on a battery with a higher voltage and you'll get a more powerful vape.

Electronic Cigarettes & Accessories | Awesome Vapor has the LR Boge cartos with the tube down the middle to prevent the filling from compressing and tightening up the draw. Pack of 5 is $8.

These are the best Boge cartos I've found. You might want to check out the Little Dwarf drip tip while you are on their site. You'll need an 801 to 510 battery thread adapter, also. The cartos and the Dwarf are both high draw devices, so you would be better off with the Ego style battery.
