Not unless it's defective. Most batteries have a time limit built in so you can't draw to long. Just to prove how tough they are here's a 510 atty I let burn for over 3 minutes and it was still working.

That pretty much sums it up. My draws are usually 5+ sec long plus an extra 1sec where I push the button and hold it before I draw to heat up the atty. I get months out my attys, so it's just fine. Long, slow draws get more flavor and bigger throat hits too so I encourage this behavior! :)

I'm using a L2 510 with a usb passthrough and love it. I do about a 3 to 4 sec draw and get good vapor and TH. I use the "blue foam" cart mod and get 9 drops to a cart and about 40 to 45 puffs per cart. At 12 puffs from my old analogs, the carts are giving me about 3.6 to 4.0 analog cigs per cart.

Much, much cheaper and I like vaping so much more.
