Hi, I'm Scott,
I'm new to these forums, and have a lot of respect for the information and service that user-driven forums offer to people motivated enough to interact and participate with the site. I have extensive experience , though not expert, with other forums and other subjects. I don't tend to use all the flash and pomp of markup, although it's fun to mess around with sometimes. I also tend to post chain-of-thought a lot of the time, like now, lolz.
I started vaping maybe 11 months ago, using an eGo AIO. I still have this kit, and sometimes use it at work because it's very handy: low-footprint, low output of vapor, etc., make this necessary at my job. I'm a RN so it's hard to get away from the Nursing desk sometimes. It's not so hard, however, to duck into a nook and use the AIO on the DL. My first vape rep/retail associate was a real dragon, though, and I always wanted to have more fun with the clouds.
So I've collected a Smok Stick V8 since then, and had a really good time with it. I use it at work also, because it's just more satisfying and simple to stash as well. I'm not much of a vape tweaker at this point, so the V8's simplicity has been spot-on for me. Then I got a juicy gift certificate at Christmas and decided to wade a little further into the vapor world. I've acquired a GeekVape Aegis now and I'm loving it, too. I still appreciate the overall simplicity of it's function and performance, and enjoy experiencing the increased depth and intricacies of e-juice flavors that a kit like this can express. I'm also enamored by it's sturdy appearance and rugged nature; I know it's not literally indestructible but it's cool that it's built to go the distance like the Raging Bull. Now I'm looking to match my Aegis with a more suitable tank and I'm having a good time reading the different insights and opinions off in the threads (this is not a request for feedback to this post, BTW).
I'm learning more about the e-cig community, products, and support. Like I said, I've participated in many forums for many reasons and I have tons of respect and admiration for forum members and moderators who provide backbone and structure for a forum's presence and offerings. I'm grateful to see that ECF is a long-standing community. My poking around the forum so far showed me that the forum OGs and Mods are fair, informed, and friendly. I look forward to more digging around in the threadball and anticipate that I'll get plenty of info (if not tons more) about all the questions and curiosities I'll have regarding e-cigs and vaping.
If you tuned in for my post this far, then thanks for reading. It's good to be around and I'm sure I'll run across your inputs and shares at some point. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Cheers,
Scott
