I bought what I listed above all from Liberty Flights.
ummm...ok after Rosa's post I am now on the hunt for more juice hehe..... any suggestions or great new finds ??
I thought 25ml plus what comes with the kit would be enough but I guess not lol

It'll be enough to get you started, that's what matters most. :)

edit: wait, what comes with the kit? You mean the pre-filled carts?

For a brand new person, the key is having enough of whatever strength(s) are needed, the initial supply of stuff. For instance I couldn't stop smoking on 16 mg strength, needed 24 -- taste didn't matter so much, my tastebuds were shot initially anyhow, I just needed the right amount of nicotine.

So, if a regular full strength smoker, it's nice to have 20ml or so of 24 mg, but then also some 16-18 mg and maybe a bit of 30 or 36 mg strength. If a lights smoker, 16 - 18 mg, with a bit of 24 and some 12.

From those first couple of different strengths of juice you get a first dial-in. Buy more of whichever one or two strengths you need, then branch out and start buying flavors.

If you are a tobacco smoker, buy some of the vendor's basic tobacco, like a "USA mix". If a menthol smoker, buy a menthol. Most vendors have at least halfway decent basic tobacco and menthol, good enough for a brand new person to start the switch to vaping.

(Buying a boatload of flavors up front, before you know what nicotine level you need, never made sense to me.)

Give liberty-flights a call, with your order number, and you should be able to find out what comes with the kit and add a few more bottles, different mg, to your order.

I agree, get the shipment and try the juice. If you like the 24mg, order a bunch more. If you like the 18mg, get more of that. Just don't let yourself run out. Most places can get you your order in about 3-5 days, so you will have a few days to figure it out.

I don't know bahahahaha
It says : 5x tobacco cartridges but does not say what kind or strength or if blank

Mine came with a mlb high. I assume its a Marlboro 24mg flavor..to be honest I haven't tried them yet and actually I just cleanedvtwo of them out and filled with a different juice...I suppose I should least try one to see what it taste like...but congrats on taking the first step to becoming nasty cig free! You'll find with all the great flavors you will actually enjoy vaping I swear I get a sense of euphoria from some of my flavors.. I have been smoking a lot of primevaping.com "love from above flavor" 30pg/70vg 24mg hard to explain the flavor but its just awesome. Vg is more throat hit and flavor and vg is sweet and more vapor. That will be the next thing to figure out is the blend you will like the best.. there are so many great flavors from so many different vendors that its gonna drive you nuts for the next week or so trying to figure out want you want to try! But selection is key so you'll always enjoy the experience. Start reading through some reviews of different vendors and try some from all different places till you feel like you have found some that will keep you interested.

If it's too low an mg you won't satisfy "hard" cravings, though a lower mg can be nice for times when you actually want to chain vape. Easy example -- my battery presently has about 26mg do-it-yourself liquid in it, while my passthrough running off a standalone power supply has some very nice 15 mg strength. I just puff the high strength once in a while, but will vape the 15 a lot, as much for the flavor as the nicotine.

Yes, what you both have said makes sense about the strength I will want/need. I bought both 24 and 18mg for the Tank too so I can also try that. I am assuming that if you have a lower mg than you are "comfortable" with you will just end up vaping more correct ? Won't be as happy with less hits ??

That's sort of how it works, sort of not.... It's different for everyone, but for me if my nicotine mg isn't high enough it doesn't matter how much I vape I still won't be satisfied -- but yes, it does make me vape more if my nic is too low (not that it does any good).

If it's too high, you can feel nauseous and get cold sweats... so you'll know if it's too much.

In general, when you first start out you'll be vaping a lot more than you smoked because you aren't just replacing nicotine, you are also replacing 4000+ other chemicals that you get from cigarettes (including MAOI's). Plus, the nicotine from vaping enters your system more slowly than the nicotine from cigarettes (the tobacco company adds something to make it do that) so you'll end up vaping for a couple of minutes before you actually feel like it's doing something.

It won't be like smoking where you just light up and suddenly everything is fine. One way that new vapers combat cravings (this works) is to just vape A LOT! In the beginning, it might even seem easier to tape the e-cig into your mouth and breath through it like a straw... no, really.

But after a few weeks or a month it'll start to taper off and you'll get back to normalcy. I'm at the point now, almost a year since I started, that I don't need to have a "last vape" before going to bed anymore and if I'm going out for a while sometimes I just leave it at home... I can go for hours now without thinking about vaping or smoking.

It just totally changed my nicotine addiction so that even though I know I'm still addicted (I know this because if I lower my nic mg I start thinking about smoking fondly - why I don't think about vaping I don't know), I don't feel the same urgency to vape or smoke like I always used to feel.

When someone says they "puff or vape alot" do you mean like constantly ? I am so scared of getting Nicotine poisoning I didn't think you could do that ??
I had the patch on one day a few years ago and took it off and then proceeded to smoke, I was so violently ill and was in bed for 2 days with Nic poisoning... I was literally sweating nicotine... so I am a little scared

Oh, this is so true and important. Also, it means no rush with my first vape of the day. After a couple of weeks, though, I did start noticing something different -- my first vape of the day is more satisfying and feels fuller than the rest. I look forward to it, and enjoy it, just as much as I used to enjoy my first cigarette, even if the effect is a bit different.

That happened to me too (the patch thing) I felt like the stupid thing wasn't working, I wanted a cigarette so bad! So I ripped it off and lit one up... ran upstairs to the bathroom and hugged the toilet for a while... he he he.

If the nicotine's too high, you'll know it right a way... headache, nausea, jittery feeling... that's how you'll know. It'll happen just a couple minutes after you start vaping.

also, the average vaper uses 24mg, so if you start out with the 18mg and see if that does the trick then you can always go to the 24mg if you aren't feeling satisfied.

Don't be scared of nic poisoning. You can't vape so fast that you'll be poisoned accidentally (unless, maybe, you're vaping something outrageously strong, like more than 36mg). You'll notice that you're getting too much way before it's a medical problem. Really.

I was listening to Dr. Dean Edell once when he was talking about e-cigarettes vs. tobacco cigarettes vs. the patch. He said the reason the patch doesn't work is that it's a time release system so it's like never getting a full dose of the nicotine you need, instead you get 1/16th the amount you are used to but it's spread out over the whole day.

The reason cigarettes satisfy nicotine habits is that you get the full dose that you are used to AND you get it all in one lump sum. When that dose wears off, you get another dose.

He says the reason e-cigarettes work is that the user can control when they get their nicotine dose and they can get it in one lump sum, just like with tobacco cigarettes.

ahh ok, ??? Thought I could just open the cap and pour more in with the tank system ??

Should have elaborated a bit, you don't NEED a syringe like someone else said, I just recommend one. One time I used a tank that wasn't pushed all the way on, the atomizer flooded and I ended up sucking juice into the the tip of the tank (and my mouth, ugh). I used a syringe to squirt water into the mouth opening part of the tank to flush the juice out. It's part of my cleaning routine now as well, hot water into both openings of the tank.

I'm still new myself and have only used 510 models which is the three piece (atty, cart, battery system), and a KR808 model which is the 2 piece (cartomizer, battery) system. I have to say that I prefer the 2 price system. I use a Bloog MaxxFusion and really love it. They have various nic strengths and flavors available, and blank cartomizers that you can fill with any juice you want. Assuming that you want to fill cartomizers at all. Also the cartomizers that come pre filled can be re filled if want to do that.

I was a pack a day Camel Wide light smoker and with the Maxx Fusion I have been free of cigs for over a week. 2 battery and the pcc do me well for the day. The real trick is finding the combination of PV system and juice with flavor and nic strength that work for you.

Good luck with your endeavor whatever route you choose.

Yeah good idea - make sure you have the right nicotine level before buying a ton of juices. I recommend FreedomSmokeUSA and Backwoods Brew and I also like Velvet Vapors. Other people have other faves - those are just some of the good places.

I bought some really weird juices in the beginning (besides trying a ton of different kinds of tobacco samples before I found my personal fave - Backwoods Brew Casablanca which reminded me somewhat of my old favorite cigs). I eventually discovered I was most satisfied by Turkish blends - they are often the most aromatic and a bit pungent like cigarettes. As for the weird foody/fruity juices I bought to start - I discovered I could not vape those alone for the first two months. SOme people can go straight to foody/fruity flavors and some can't. They made me crave an analog like I had just eaten, and many didn't have enough TH to make me feel like I smoked. I vaped myself into a too-much-nicotine headache with BWB Peach which is yummy but never said "you're done". So I had to mix it into tobacco juices instead (makes even a 100%pg eh tobacco much nicer). Now I can vape foody/fruity juices alone if they have some TH or throat sensation (love BWB Vanilla Bean)

Mixers - I love changing what I'm vaping a bit sometimes. The following are great juices for adding to others including to tobaccos - vanilla, chocolate or cocoa (many cigs including Marlboro have cocoa in them), caramel (when adding caramel to a tobacco cart I usually use FreedomSmokeUSA oRYental 4 - a sweet caramelly tobacco). Non-creamy fruit flavors can also be good additions to plainer tobacco flavors.
