Yup, I remember way back when.....we didn't have no busses or parents driving us to school, young 'un. Why, I was happy just to go to school....and walked 2 miles.....

In the snow.....

Uphill.......

BOTH ways!
 Why is it that everyone has heard that same story? I was about 10 when I realised that even the grandparents/parents that lived in the tropics/subtropic told those stories...

I feel really strange being a newbie! The only other forum I on, I'm one of the 'oldies'---been there almost 5 years and it's changed alot with a gazillion new members. So I know how the long-timers feel on this thread now with all the change from the 'good-old-days'.

But I'm so glad the forum is here and that us newbies are allowed in. You've helped soooo much! vaping and e-cigs are so confusing at first with so much info overload, not knowing which suppliers are good, wasting money on the bad ones---and then, finding this goldmine of info and help!

Thanks soooo much guys!! :)

Ahhh...next year, the newbs will be saying the same thing...."I can remember when..." :p

As to not be a PITA and ask the same questions posed by others before me, I've been reading posts 4, 5 and 6 months old. The answers are there just as they are today, only the names of the products have changed. So, today's newbs will have every right to say; "I remember when...". <g> The folks that go back to the near beginning get kudos from me for being so patient answering the same stuff over and over, ad nauseum. Especially Kate, whose avatar may be clad in a nun's habit but has the patience of a saint.

Take a collective bow, youz guyz.

you probably dont have the stats before june Sambucalu because the forum switched from simple machines to Vbulletin around then I think. Users had to imported and some data was lost along the way. It was definitely a more peaceful forum back then but you you could see the momentum building and everyone was wondering if a craze was going to kick off and how long the press would take to pick up on the story.

TECC was around and the first company I bought from. E-cigs.co.uk was also selling and becoming a popular brand.

A strong dutch e-cig community had already established a while before this forum was set up and I remember Ludo was selling for Ruyan and had yet to create his Janty brand.

People were excited about Loong totem on the boards though no-one was fooled by Jack and Rita who used to enjoy masquerading as casual users giving props to their products. Their unsubtle chinglish always gave them away. Cash had to boot them a good few times. ha ha.
