Congrats on the new Provari. Maybe you'll get lucky like I did when I got my first one. I popped a batt in right out of the box & it read 4.2. I vaped all day without having to wait for them to charge:) I've never used the Kangers but they seem to be well liked. If you do get leaking you'll just clean the connection with a paper towel. Easy peasy! Plus there's a cleaning & maintenance video on Provapes site if you need it. I'd hold off on the Z-Atty pro for now personally. Give yourself some time to see if it's something you really want to invest in. Many people use Kangers & cheaper RBA's on their Provari's & are just as happy.

Oh & it has a nice weight to it without being too heavy. Don't worry...it's pretty freakin awesome:D

So my ProVari will be arriving soon. What will I need to do first? Charge batteries or are they already charged? Will my Kanger tank leak? Do I need to buy an air flow adapter? Or should I suck it up and buy a Z Atty Pro? I plan on rebuilding one or the other. How much does this thing weigh? Why did I buy this thing??? Hoping it's as awesome as told.

- Congratulations
- Recommended, but they probably arrive charged about 70% I think?
- Does it leak now? If so, yes, if not, no.
- Aerotank base for Protank ($5, but many places out of stock right now) is a great fix IF you have airflow trouble with your ProTank, which is about 50% likely. They're not consistent - some work fine, some won't thread all the way down, some get air cut off.
- I'd hold off on Z-atty. If you want a find rebuildable, read more about them, you may want a Kayfun or Russian 91%
- It's kinda like holding a roll of quarters.
- You bought it because you want a rock solid vape-device? Because it looks nice? Because it's got a fan club?

You'll be happy!

A friend of mine told me about Kayfun/Russian. What's the best model to go with? Advise the noob please!

This sounds like a demand of the Provarinati...am I free to choose? You people sure are oppressive! ;p But seriously..thanks. What's the best tank for the provari? Kayfun, IBtanked, Kanger? I think this thread ruled out the ZAP. Any links to a good reliable rebuildable?

I haven't tried the Kayfun, too rich for my wallet. My preference are the IBTanked cartotanks. Not really a fan of clearomizers.

I sold my TWO Z-Atty-Pro's for 2 Kayfun Lite Plus. Seriously, unless you like genesis RBAs, you know the ones that leak if you turn them on their side, don't buy them. Kayfuns are better. Kayfuns have airflow control, ZAP has a very wide open draw which I grew tired of.

I haven't tried the Russian. I have four Kayfun Lite Plus's. They are priced at $99 each, which is much cheaper than their bigger brothers, and the Lite + has the same features and fill capacity. I wouldn't buy the bigger versions because you have to fill them with a special consumable plastic fill needle. With the Kayfun Lite Plus, you just unscrew using a phillips head screwdriver (supplied) and refill with the bottle or a blunt needle.

Welcome Kuljit, but the first thing you need to do is tell us what you got! What color Provari and LED? Mini or full size? Any accessories besides batteries? What mod are you upgrading from? As well as sharing your excitement with all the details, we can give better advice understanding a bit about where your coming from and where your headed vape gear wise. But mostly, we're just a bit nosy that way.

Don't sweat charging the batteries first, they will come with at least a storage charge and be at 3.7v or higher. So you can charge one while you enjoy your Provari with the other, and when the first is charged just switch. Besides the Provari is pretty smart and won't let you drain your battery to a point it's damaged, so no worries there.

Tanks are really personal and hard to recommend without knowing your preferences a bit more, but if you like your Kanger, you can keep your Kanger (sounds like a lie somehow :p). If your Kanger gets enough airflow from the 510 connector it will work great, if the air is a bit tighter than your used to you could try unscrewing just a bit to get air while still maintaining electrical connection through the 510, or get an AFC base. Any 510 connection tank will work if it gets air flow, so do some research on what tanks looks interesting to you.

Welcome to our world, not a bad place to be.

I think that is a difficult question to answer on what is best. I am currently using carto tanks. I want to try and Kayfun but have not yet.

There seems to be a variety of things Provari use as a delivery system.

Plain silver matte ProVari, blue display. Full size and ordered the hardshell case for it (so excited about that). I've been using Halo Tritons, which are great. But that was my first vaping system. I'd highly recommend it to anyone trying to get into vaping. But the ProVari...I'm just too stoked about >< thanks for the tips :)
