Flavor and vapor production are absolutely insane. I have a vid posted. Here's the link.

You can do it without a drill. You need 2 clamps and a huge amount of patience. Pinch the 24 ga kanthal between the 2 clamps spaced roughly 18 inches apart. Keep that kanthal taught! Then start on one end with the 30 or 32 ga kanthal and pretend you're building the world's largest micro coil on it.

I realize this thread is to post pictures of your builds, but I'm wondering if someone could give me some advice on a Brass Monkey rda build. I think my coils and wicks are fine but they pull less vapor than my GBC tank. I think the problem is the battery? An efest 18650 3.7 in a Magneto. Should this work fine? I don't have a multimeter so I can't say the resistance. But it's two micro coils and cotton wick. Help!

Oh wow that sounds rough to do lol can you do it with just a 28g kanthal or do you need two different sizes?

You need 2 different sizes. The inner kanthal you want to be more firm and the outer needs to be more flimsy in order to get the desired wrapping effect. It's well worth the time imho. And much easier to work with the twisted.

For some reason I can't post a picture from my phone, but I just built my first dual micro coils on an Igo-W. Read at point 8 ohms. Used a rather small amount of cotton wicking, not sure if I should re-wick and add more... Guess I'll tinker more tomorrow.. Wish I could post a picture, as I'm rather proud of my second build ever!

I use this jig for micro and nano coil winding. The 1.83mm rod is good for Protank coils. If there's not a rod that's exactly what you want, it's easy to make a winding rod out of a coat hanger, welding rod, or any solid wire rod you find. It makes a perfect coil every time and you can control the spacing from wide to tight with the coils touching.

That is simply the most amazing thing I've seen yet for coil building!! Thanks for the link!

Right now I am using a dual coil setup using 8 wraps of 26g A-1 Kanthal wire in a Smoktech Caterpillar RDA. Its my favorite so far, great vapor clouds and great flavor. I would post a picture but I have been stuck on Banana Gone Nuts and haven't changed my coils for a week. They are all black right now. Ill post a pic tomorrow with the same build, plan on rebuilding tomorrow
