they got me..... both smoke51 and smoke anywhere USA Inc tried to scam me. My bank is working on getting my money back and filled fraud.

I sent an e-mail to the wrong company and got this.

Thank you for your email.

I believe you are trying to contact Smoke51.com or SmokingEverywhere.com- we are SmokeAnywhere.com and have NO CONNECTION with smoke51.com, their parent company "Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc." or SmokingEverywhere.com and their parent company Smoking Everywhere LLC.

Over the past few days, we have received well over 100 emails related to a "trial promotion" from either Smoke51.com or SmokingEverywhere.com, so you are certainly not the first to write to us instead.

After looking into their promotions, I can see why you are upset - it is somewhat misleading unless you carefully read the fine print.
Smoke51’s fine print terms https://smoke-51.secureweboffer.com/offer/smoke51/terms/
SmokingEverywhere’s fine print terms Terms and Conditions Smoking Everywhere

Again, I must stress that we ARE IN NO WAY associated with smoke51.com or smokingeverywhere.com.
We at SmokeAnywhere.com pride ourselves on customer service and would never attempt to deceive our customers.

Here is what I recommend:

1) Contact Smoke51.com at rma@smoke51.com or SmokingEverywhere.com at support@smokingeverywhere.com. Their website also lists a phone number that you should try.

2) If they refuse to offer you a full refund, I recommend that you immediately contact your credit or debit card and dispute the charge.

3) If you still cannot solve the issue, you should consider contacting the Better Business Bureau at:
https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/getstarted.aspx?siteID=113 .
Please make certain your complaint is addressed to the correct company, for Smoke51 it should be Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc, for SmokingEverywhere.com it should be Smoking Everywhere LLC.

Your mom said not to say...
While I feel for you being ripped off, I can't help but say if you had done a minimum amount of research you would have known not to deal with these people, especially any company that want's to auto ship to you STAY AWAY from them.

Next time take 2 minutes to Google E-Cigs, it would have brought you to a forum like this or this exact forum, you could have asked and you would have gotten 20 replies to stay away from them companies within 10 minutes of posting.

Live and learn I suppose it happens to a lot of people so just try to get your cash back, call your CC company and dispute the charge or reverse it, most CC are more than happy to do that. It sucks that you got taken (possibly) you stand a good chance of not getting burned if you get with your CC company right away. Like I said try to take it as a life lesson, and the others that come after you should take heed to not just rush in and buy the first pretty ad you see for something, check around see what else is out there and what others have to say about a product.

Then there are those who have "heard" of these things called "e-cigs;" perhaps saw 'em at a fair booth; or heard an ad on the radio during a program of a show they trust, and called the advertised number to place an order for a FREE TRIAL, never knowing about auto-ship, and, in fact, being told that there would *only* be a s/h charge of $10 or so; and only later discovering the scam of being charged $80/month as surprise deductions appear on a charge card account.

This was my experience with Smoke Assassim -- and I did first do the handy dandy Google search prior to my SA order, to get an idea of what e-cigs were about. However, soooo many results pop up for "e-cig," it's daunting for someone completely unfamiliar with PVs to determine which links supply the accurate and honest info desired. I didn't even know about e-cigarette-forum or any other e-cig forum until *after* I had been scammed and was searching for other reports of SmokeAssassin scams; it was a search on that SA scam experience that eventually led me to this forum.

My point being: yes, it certainly is helpful to first find a forum related to one's interests, but that won't always be the case for each person who hears about this crazy new contraption called e-cigs. Best we can do is help spread the word to other folks interested in e-cigs about which vendors to avoid like the plague. I think that's just what the OP was doing here.

Not quite sure how helpful it is to say, in essence, that a noob should have known better.

I didn't find this forum till after I had a Red Dragon and a Smoke 51. After I found this forum I read and read and decided on a 901. I loved it much more than the smoke 51 and red dragon....so much more flavor. I also got a 510 after hearing all the good things about it on the forum, and it now sits in a drawer for backup cause I think it is too harsh. I am glad I found this forum, but I researched online for quite awhile and never realized there was a forum that I could join...yes I am a little slow at times!! :) Point is.......before you know about ecigs, you really don't know what you are looking for and many things can pass you by. You zone in on something and go for it, whether it is the smoke 51, red dragon, etc. or see a kiosk in a mall and buy it not realizing there is a whole world of e-cig information just a click away!!! :)
