Thanks Apostle - I appreciate from personal experience how frustrating it is when you spend a fair whack on an electronic device that should work and how frustrating it is when it doesn't!

We know these things are tempermental, and at least a decent warranty backs this notion up.

We do however see the batteries and atomisers as semi-disposable items like everyone else so will be offering 60 days on those, but will try and maintain a good cheap supply so that parts shouldn't cost much to replace. ;)

ok, just a quick tip for all you lady pipe owners!

Do NOT drop them! lol. I just dropped mine and now the switch is broken, it still works, but by itself. It doesn;t activate by puff.

so just be careful, other than that, what a great device it is and i know you will love them.

just thought i'd let you know

Hi Pete -

Sorry, for the lack of comms - I tried posting here to update you, but had the dreaded error message and couldn't post - you should have had a dispatch email sent yesterday...

Anyway, glad you guys received the pipe already and are enjoying it so far!

Freddo - would you be able to get a manual switch put in to get it working again or have you found another way of getting it to work?

Cheers for now,
Tim

hi smokingdeuce is there any chance of you sending an e-mail or even letting us know on here when you are dispatching them....if it's possible to do that I would like to have some idea of when it might arrive ...and hopefully I can make sure I am home.

Any Idea when these will be in? and when you will post them out?
Thanks

They are in stock now, but unfortunately the order didn't arrive in full so we haven't got as much stock as we had originally ordered.... there are still a few left though and more coming in next week...:)

smokindeuce... at the price six months is long enough dude..

its a nice idea... and it a possible SD contender.. if the body last six months the customer will more than have had their moneys worth..

just my thoughts.. its you thats selling em... he he

trog

Smokindeuce has kindly offered a one-year warranty on the pipe body. This shows that he has a lot of confidence in his product. As an end user I think that a year is great and wouldn't like to see it shortened. What's the warranty on the screwdriver, Trog?

Guess I'll have to wait until the next batch of Lady Pipes come in. The 1 year warranty is fantastic along with the price - well done!

Re the Screwdriver warranty - I don't think there is one as such, this is all I could find on the subject anyway.

Quote from Trog in another thread: "..basically if someone buys a product from me they have to take my word for it being what it is.. if they show doubt as to what i say being true.. i would tell them to go away and buy something else.."

That is why I wouldn't touch a Screwdriver with a bargepole, I couldn't be doing with the possible hassle of it's 'my way or the highway' if something went wrong, especially at the price.

Bring on the Lady Pipe and the generous warranty!

New stock is expected monday, but I have some extras for backup... let me know (mail@smokejuice.co.uk) how many you need, and I'll see what I can do. :)

Thanks for the input Trog - 1yr is a long warranty, but I feel as long as the switch/battery compartment is used as intended ie. not flooded with liquid/dropped etc (user negligence) we are happy to stand by this. Should any potential defects arising be caused by user negligence, this would obviously void the warranty as with any other electronic product.
