I've asked for a new moderator for this group, and truckinlady has graciously volunteered to do the job here. I'm sure she will do an excellent job.
I think it's time for me to move on and focus the majority of my energy in another direction and place. I still might pop in and post from time to time, when the spirit moves me.
Please make her feel welcome and appreciated. Thanks.
Lisa,
Thank you for your vote of confidence!! First and foremost, I want to say all Honor, Praise, and Glory belong to my Heavenly Father. I hope we all will continue in fellowship, in respect of one another, and our differing beliefs.
I was saddened by some of the posts I've read today regarding Lisa's tenure as Moderator. I respectfully point out that we are all at different stages of growth as Christians in our walk with our Lord. Some are more mature than others. Only the Lord knows what is in Lisa's heart. I do not doubt her love for the Lord, or her sincerety in seeking Him.
And while I may not have always agreed with some of the posts made by
all members here, I try to understand the spirit in which they have been written, and the intentions behind them. I would also ask the same of my posts.
Colossians 3:12-16 (NKJV)
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
In His Love,
Trukinlady
