Hello everyone. My name is Brett and I have been making videos on YouTube documenting my quit smoking challenge. I recently picked up one of the discposable ecigs at my local mall and was excited to discover this community on the topic of ecigarettes. Found this forum watching Mistress Nomads video series I really enjouyed.
Today is day 7 smoke free. Looking forward to learning more.
Thanks
Brett

Thanks to each of you for the welcome and support. I apologize for the delay in responding I guess it takes a few posts to be able to set up email notification of new posts.
I purchased one of the Krave 300 disposables from the mall kiosk and am impressed with the vapor and even the taste is something I could get used to. I believe by the time this wears out I will have decided to keep going or not. Oh vaping as I have learned it is called. LOL pretty kewl.
After 37 years of smoking I believe I am going to find comfort in having an ecigarette on hand if nothing else. At least for the first several months to ensure I never regress back to regular tobacco.
Again thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I appreciate it.
Brett

Thats great congratulations. You are my hero of the day. lol
Welcome to the Forum Brett. You're on the right path.
My wife and I discovered ecigs and the forum in late June 2009 and haven't had a "regular" cigarette since July 1, 2009, the day our first ecigs arrived in the mail. I smoke for more than 40 years and was at 2-3 packs a day'

Thank you. I love your signature calculating days and money saved. Is that available to anyone?

Hi Brett, welcome to ECF and congratulations on your first week being smoke-free! If you see a banner design that you like in someone's signature, just click on it and it will redirect you to the site where the banner was made so that you can make your own. Then you just need to copy the code when editting your signature line here at ECF.

While this is true, he needs around 15 posts and then wait a least an hour(to catch up) before his signature line shows up in his profile.

Thank you so much for the welcome

Congrats on the your success Brett!! I have been off of anologs for a month now since buying my first rebranded 510. When you decide to upgrade, I might suggest a ego-tank. I bought one and love it!! Just fill the tank and vape away.

Welcome to the forum, and the wonderful world of vaping! Its absolutely amazing that I can puff on this e-cig, and I don't want to smoke. I was smoking 3-5 packs a day when I quit a little over a month ago, I've been trying to quit since 94, and the best I ever did was a couple of months, and half of the time was spent in the hospital with pheunomonia, I didn't even have enough breath to walk across the room when I got admitted. I got that every year from 99-08 around fall/early winter, that last time I had it, it almost killed me, and it was directly related to my lung damage from smoking, and I still couldn't quit. I couldn't breathe when I was smoking, I had a nebulizer next to my bed that I had to use morning and evening, and I also had a hand held inhaler that I used every hour. Since I quit, I'm using it sometimes once a day, most days I don't need anything, this is a truly revolutionary product. Nothing had ever worked, tried everything but hypnosis/acupuncture. Every other remedy I tried, I was resigned to being killed by something smaller then my pinkie. As I said, congratulations, welcome, you will love vaping.
I chain VAPE 24MG juice between 6-10ML a day in my Joye Ego Tank, I love it! It's my fifth e-cig purchase, I wish it had been my first, but I do t think I would have been able to quit without it, the other smaller ones, the battery life was a hinderance for me. The Joye 510 only lasted 15-30 minutes before I needed to charge them! But once I pickedup a e-cig I never had to smoke again. Good luck, have fun, and research ALOT before spending! I'm partial to my tank for someone that was smoking like I was!
Welcome again.
