New ohm meter charging question

I stripped out my ohm meter today and had to run to my B&M for a new one. The one I ruined used two AA batteries but this new one has a USB charger. How in the heck do I know when it's done charging? I've got it plugged in now and there's a red dash that jumps across the screen but that's it. I have no clue.

On mine the dash stops moving and three static dashes appear.

I had no idea how mine indicated fully charged either when I got it. I had to contact VaporCube to find out.
Frustrating though! How frakkin' hard is it to add a couple sentences to the outside of the box. Or, heaven forbid, include an instruction card/sheet?
