Quick yes or no question: should i use my batts untill the are completley dead?

I have been, they have been lasting me 2 days per batt and just wanted to know if it is good, bad, or indifferent to do this.

PS: that is 2 days of vaping 2 ml per day, for anyone wondering how long the batts last.

I don't know if you should or shouldn't - but I've been charging mine each evening when I get home, and then they last me until I get home from work the next day.

I will say it's good to know that they are lasting that long! Hopefully someone else will be able to answer how frequently you should or shouldn't be charging them. I'd like to know for myself.

The primer oil/lubricant is to make sure the Atty Coil remains moist until you use it. There has been a lot of discussion about the safety of inhaling it. Either way, I would inhale as little of it as possible.

The only reason I think you still taste it, is that your system is not wicking juice properly to the Atty.

Two Atty's, Three different juices (All w/ different viscosity)... Have you tried changing out your tank cap? The kit comes with some soft silicone replacement caps. I would try one of those, and see if that get's things going for you!

Also - when they're back in stock, LR atties make a world of difference. And I'm finding, at least for me, even the juice vendor makes the difference. As a new user, I've purchased from four different vendors so far. The fourth juice vendor order came in last night and the flavor from their juices explode in comparison to the other three. So much so that they are the only vendor I immediately placed a new sampler order with to try even more of their flavors. (And they're developing a Nutella flavor for me right now too!)

While I'm sure I'll still have the "try more juice vendors" affliction, I'm pretty sure I've settled on my primary juice vendor now. Nothing has disappointed yet (and I can't say that I've had the flavor experience like this with the other three). I don't know the PG/VG ratio, because it's dependent on the flavor for this vendor as to what compliments the flavor the best. But it's also the smoothest, cleanest tasting juice so far. If I were to rate the four on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, this vendor is a solid 10, the other are 6 and 7 for my tastebuds.

I didn't buy the kit only, the cone, atties (LR) and hard cap tanks. So people recommend I buy the soft caps?

I have an ego-c and have two weeks on the atty and still going strong with zero maintenance. I am wondering what is considered a leak? I have some wetness on the tank when I refill, but always thought this was condensation. Nothing appears on the outside or the battery/atty connection.
My question seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.

You will get some condensation on the inside of the cone as the vapor settles and transforms from vapor back to juice. I see droplets in the cone when I change/refill tanks and wipe these out with a paper towel rolled into a cone shape. I stick it in the cone and twist it around to soak up these droplets.

I would call it a leak if you get gurgling on the draw and have juice down in the atty base or on the battery connection. I had this a couple times until I adjusted my vape pace taking softer, longer puffs. Glad to hear the C is working well for you. :)

I run the eGo bats. until they flash- beg for the charger. One is 1 yr 8 mo. & probably over 400 cycles, another 1 yr. 4 mo. & still running. They flash before they are completely dead.

Well after vaping myself dizzy on the ego-c, I'm impressed! I really did over do it too testing almost every flavor I have, about 30-40 total flavors.

The flavor is a little dull but it's so much more clean than from my go-go carts. I DIY my own liquids so I just added a little more flavor to them for now. I'll get the LR atties next month and see if that boosts the flavor. There's no "other" taste any more from the cart filler, at least that's what I'm guessing it's from. Even some of the fruit flavors I love dripped, I could never get to taste like that in the go-go carts. In the ego-c they taste like they should again.

OMFG! A dry draw on this thing... THE WORST TASTE EVER!!!! It's like a burning tire! But after messing with it and changing the way I vape on it, I haven't had it happen for hours now. Not sure if it had a break in period or I just adjusted how I'm vaping, but so far so good.

I did notice a bit of liquid in the cone too. I'm going to say that's from condensation too. It's not enough to come out of it or anything. Seems like just another great use for a q-tip, to clean that out. I'd consider a leak anything that gets on your hands just from picking it up, or dripping from it. What's in the cone, to me, isn't a leak at all. That's my take on that.

Don't really care for the plastic whistle tip though. It feels so fragile. With the silicon tip condoms though, it doesn't bother me. Used to solid metal tips I guess. Taking out the tip & the 2nd little air flow tip thingy from the tanks whistle tip before putting the condom on it, did seem to help a little with flavor also.

Another thing I really like is the button on the battery. I don't know if all ego batts have the same button but it's miles better than the rubber like one on the go-go.

Love the fact I can just drip 8 drops in to a tank & and 2-3 drops of flavor to test a flavor. No wasting much of anything doing that!

I go back & forth on the drain compleatly or charge overnight. I'm sure they don't have a memory or anything and it doesn't matter at all what way you do it. The ego-c seems so small & light compaired to my go-go though.

Do these change color as the battery depletes like I saw on one of the videos? Or do they just stay white?

I was wondering if my old ego-t batteries will work on the ego-c, I can't seem to find anything about it on their website. I have two of the old 650 mAH batteries as well as two of the EGO 650mah variable-volt manual switch batteries and I would love to be able to keep using them if I get the Ego-C.

BTW, probably due to my own stupidity (one should never keep a battery in near a clueless roommate) one of my variable volts that I got last week stopped working and when plugged in would run until the timer stopped. I emailed the vendor litecigusa and they're sending a replacement on Monday. I wasn't expecting that, all I was hoping for was to know what might have caused it.

Here is the size of the eGo-C (on the right) compared to a standard eGo battery (on the left). Didn't realize the eGo-C battery was a little larger until I took this picture. Both 650mAh. :)

Edit: These are within 1/16". The diameter is probably more like 9/16".

Here is a post I made earlier in this thread about the size difference in the standard eGo battery and the C battery. The threads are the same and the cone/base for the C fits perfectly on both. :2cool:

Edit to add: The eGo-T batteries work with the C cone and attys as well.

The tip thing I keep failing at describing, someone did a much MUCH beter job at explaining it LOL

Here are a couple of tips for better performance of your eGo-T Tanks.

1. Take the vapor restrictor out. Take a paper clip and pull the plastic end of the mouthpiece out with the hole in it. Next look down in the mouthpiece and you will see a plate with a hole in it. Insert your paper clip and pull it out. If you can afford to leave both of these pieces out without getting dirt down in there, leave them out. You will notice a difference in vapor. If not just put the top plate back in and leave the inner plate out. The vapor is trying to get through 2 small holes and restricting vapor.

Don

I leave both out and have a lot less dry burns for some reason.

I just took apart my first eGo-c atty and it was very easy compared to the T-atty. Dry burned the coil and it looks like new, I just rinsed the wick and needle plate in hot water and let dry, then put the plate back in the coil housing, it so much easier than the T-atty. Every thing looks new, but I will wait until my second C-atty needs work and then I will try the one I cleaned and will write more when I do that, about how it works.

in a box.
So today after having my Ego -c for almost 2 weeks I have experienced some kinda of leak on my tanks? When vaping I hear this gurgling sound and also some the liquid comes out of the cone. Is their any way to fix this? I am using the rubber bottom ends and not the hard ones. Is there some other kinda of tank I can buy that feels more sturdier than these plastic ones given?

Are you positive that you've got the tank pushed all the way in? Have you been using the same tank with the same soft cap for the 2 weeks?

I know some of the folks here prefer the soft cap, but I much prefer the hard cap myself.

Currently these are the only tanks available for the C. Mine feel pretty sturdy.

did you try to replace your tank cap or the whole tank with a new one?
If it still leaks you might need a cleaning of the atomizer.

wyojoe - Make sure you prime the wick and coil with some juice. This is pretty easy to do before you put it back together but you can also just prime through the spike. Let us know how it goes. :vapor:
Yes I will prime it before I us it. Then I will see if it works like new again, It should, as the coil is like new since the dry burn, so if the wick does its job there is not reason it should not work like new. Again it sure is alot easier to take apart than the T-atty ever was, I gave up on the T because of the cost, and it was very hard to take apart and do a dry burn. That's why I thought I would try the C-atty in the first place, and I am glad I did.

Check this reply earlier in this thread for more hints and tips on avoiding leaking. Hope this helps. :)
