Hey Sammie, I purchased them based on performance reviews, the Hoosier site did a voltage comparision against what is known as a top performer the 18650, they held up against those pretty well, check out the video.
I did the Pepsi challenge, Ego vs SLB using some mega dual coil carto's as well as regular atomizers and of course the Ego T & C, the SLB batts produced a slightly warmer vapor, more vapor and the TH was noticeably better.
Not really into all the techie stuff, I was just looking for a way to get a bit more performance from my Ego, these batteries have done that...
3.8 volts under load running a dual coil carto, that's .5 higher than the high drain 18650 according to Brent at Hoosier...not sure if that's regulated.

I get about 6 hours during the day on the stock 650Mah Ego Batteries, little longer at night, as I'm not just sitting there vaping non-stop.. (LR Atty)... I really haven't used my Liberty Flights VV Batteries much, need to play with them some, but I'm happy w/ the (LR Atty) on the stock ego Batt voltage. Not going to try and fix what isn't broken.

My vape pace is a bit lower at about 3-4ml per day and the 650mAh eGo batteries last me through the whole day and into the next. I have considered a larger, higher mAh battery but I gotta agree with Kent C...the balance and feel in the hand of the eGo battery 650mAh is just right. I think a higher mAh, heavier battery may throw this off a bit. I have four of the 650mAh eGo batteries and between my wife and I we always seem to have a battery or two charged and ready to go.
I like the 650mAh batteries also for the size and not take up much room in your pocket. My fav so far is the E-power 1050mAh, it has just regular a replaceable batteries inside the screw on shell, so I carry a charged extra battery in my pocket so I always have power. I just slip the discharged battery out and drop in a new charged battery. It is much cheaper than buying a new E-go battery. I have used the Ego batteries for a year and after they quit charging I bought the E-power instead and love it and have had it about 3 months and if it fails to charge, all I need to buy is the much cheaper replacement battery. Also after reading some of the treads above, I think my battery life is shorter than some because I use a 1.7ohm carto and I know a battery lasts longer when I use the standard 3.2ohm carto's.

I looked at the E-power before I bought my C unit but was still disenchanted with using cartos. I guess you could use a 510 to eGo adapter on these batteries with the C cone, base, atty and tank?
I do have the eGo-c also, and use a 510 shorty extention from madvapes and it works great on the E-Power. It does leave the outer threads showing but if that bother you a ring can be bought to cover that. You can buy the combo (ring and shorty extension) from Jazzcartopipe it called the Ego-T adapter and spacer for 14500/14650 noego. It makes the eGo-C and the E-power look complete and very nice. My E-power is S.S. and also my Ego-C is S.S.

Thanks.

I got started in vaping 6 months ago and have been through 4 types of kits already. Using a volcano inferno (650 usb) with a Inferno tankomizer right now. I wanted to try the ego-c, but I'm pretty sure the wife might be more dangerous to my health then cigarettes had been if I bought another whole kit so soon. So I'm just going to try the atomizer set up on my battery.

Alxx: Make sure you order LR Atty's! If you want to try an SR Atty, Private message me w/ your address, and I'll stick an SR in the mail to you. I have no use for them.

Well I was going to stick with the SR Atty since it is close to Volcanos tankomizer. If I'm right the tankomizer is 2.4 and I believe the ego-c is 2.2

How does the ego-c LR Atty effect battery life? I only have one battery and it lasts from when I leave the house until I'm back home from work with some power to spare.

My lighter flavors Black Currant, Ylang Ylang and Lotus are enhanced by the SR compared to the T's and taste better on SR vs. LR. My stronger flavors Habana Reserve, Absinthe do well on both - but fine on SR. Real Tabs - stronger tastes best on LR but not that bad on SR. None "muted" vs. the t. I have my coffee on cisco 306lr's. Haven't tried them on eGo-c yet but I'd go LR on the VV at high ;) Perhaps I'll try that but I think the Doppio espresso and BWB espresso need even more heat than that.

Interesting. I have two flavors that I can almost never taste. I just get a hint of it every few drags. One is a grape and the other is a peach flavor. So maybe I'll give the LR's a try. After all I do have the usb 650 so I can charge it sometimes at work off one of the computers.

Just need to decide which to try first. I'd like to get a pack of each, wish they sold them individually, but I've already been hearing ... "I though you said this would be cheaper". :) haha

There's this for the standard atty head:

And Ovale sells a five pack of LR's for @$25.

Not sure if my taste buds are just checking out at the end of a full day of heavy vaping, probably the case, got home to a fresh delivery of the BWB malty toffee 24mg and with the LR setup this liquid produced almost no flavor and zero TH...I was expecting much more from this juice on the C setup.

truman - I have gotten that from time to time as well. I noticed my taste buds wake up after eating. I also get better taste from juices first thing in the morning. I have been vaping Bounty Hunter from NLV and VooDoo from CC almost exclusively for the last several days and they are starting to taste dull.

Another thing I noticed is the LR atty benefits from more frequent cleaning. The SR I can go about a week before they wane in performance and the LR I have to do maintenance on them about every 3-4 days. May just be that I am using the LR more? I do notice a big improvement on VTF after atty maintenance.

Good to know, and thank goodness the C atty's are so much easier to clean and dry burn than the old A types.

I love my eGo-C! I have had it for a month and can now recommend it with great confidence. I have officially retired all of my cartomizers. SmokTechs, Boges...all of them. I have not touched them in the last month that I have had my eGo-C. I took them all apart today, boiled out the old juice and set them out to dry. They will go into storage and will probably collect dust. :2cool:

No leaks or dry hits on the C after I learned the system in the first week or so (thanks again to all contributors in this thread). My wife is still using one of the first SR attys we started with a month ago from the kit and it is still going strong with weekly maintenance. I have only used one of my LR attys and just starting the third week on it with maintenance every 3-4 days. Thumbs up for the eGo-C! It is an excellent PV!
