I've been eyeing this for a long time now but I have been getting by with what I had. I finally decided I was tired of carrying around a pocket full of vaping gear to get through the day and the constant dripping it takes me to keep up with my habits.

I ordered a red grand, an extra 2 of each part I could think of for it, and 10 bottles for my flavor changes that I go through every hour it seems. I also ordered a Pila charger from oveready after seeing all the reviews for it. The only thing so far I would like to see change is tracking down batteries/charger for this thing.

This is where the problem happened. I checked EVERYWHERE I could think of online and the AW IMR18650 1600mah was sold out. I finally found some at ikenvape and grabbed 4 just to make sure incase I can't find them again for awhile, also grabbed some 1.5ohm 510 atty's since I have never tried his out before.

It would be awesome if there was a reliable source for the batteries and charger as it almost caused me to go with a different mod out of frustration finding them.

Hope everything arrives around the same time so I can give the Reo a thorough breaking in session.

The recent scarcity of AW 18650's has to do with a couple of things. First, the Lavatube is selling well, but IMR 18650's didn't come with the starter kits as they were supposed to, so the many early buyers have been purchasing them where they can find them. The other factor is the AW 2000 mAh IMR about to hit the market. I would speculate that many vendor carrying AW batteries have been letting their stock of the 1600 mAh batteries dwindle so they can restock and sell the better IMR battery.

J808, your experience was not typical. It's your punishment for not buying a Reo months ago. :p

I saw the new battery mentioned and figured as much, but it still wasn't fun. Nothing against the Reo community. I'm sure I will be loving it, and I will probably get some of the new batteries as well when they launch in a few days. I just knew if I ordered it would be shipped quickly and I wouldn't have time to wait for the newer batteries. Funny thing is, the Reo shipped before I even came back to post this so now I get to cross my fingers on the other orders :)

Remember to check that tracking for delivery date. Someone will need to be home to sign. If not you should get a little note that you can take to the PO or will see a second delivery date.

Delivery day and of course the USPS hasn't updated the actual information for transit so I'm gonna be all fired up with a chance its not actually going to be here. Of course everything is coming in today except for my charger which if I know Hawaii at all won't show up until Monday at the earliest.

I have a Li-Ion charger I use for 2600mah AA batteries in my Camera equipment, could I use such a charger to get 1 battery up and running to play with my new toy until my Pila one arrives? I know I'm impatient but even at 31 years old I still feel like a kid on Christmas every time I get a package in the mail.

Congrats, might I suggest if you like switching flavors often to pick up 3-6 more REOs :D

I have six right now and 2 of them have only had 1 single flavor their whole life. Most of mine have only had the same bottle ever as well.

I'm lazy so if i do switch flavors its usually vape the bottle down most of the way and mix the new flavor on top :D

And ya, the battery issue has happened a couple times over the last 14 months I think. Luckily you only need to buy them every couple years in my experience.

Be sure to stop back and tell us how (much) you like it.

If the charger you have is for 3.7 volt Li-ion and not 3.0 volt LiFePO4 batteries, yes, it will charge your 18650's. Got a model number?

Never got why you'd do that....I only own 1 mini, but 11 different bottles :D

I'm really .... when it comes to mixing juices. half of the time, I will flush my atomizer with alcohol after changing the juice.

Well first things first I'll try out the one. If its what I think it is I will end up waiting and getting a VV version when they release. Right now I've got the batteries, and charger on the way today but the actual REO which had an expected delivery of yesterday is still showing no further activity on the tracking so I'm hoping USPS hasn't made a mistake (they do this to me a lot).

As for changing flavors I don't think I will have an issue. I'm not that picky and quite often drip 4-5 flavors in my atty back to back without cleaning. I generally take very good care of my stuff so I will probably break down the unit weekly for a thorough cleaning as well as cleaning out the atomizer with a good soak every 1-2 days.

I love mixing juices .... thats how I came up with my 3 all day vapes. They are all mixes of store bought flavors :D

Don't fear the mix :)

But if I had to actually pull the bottle flush the tube and wash or change attys I would never switch flavors.
I'd just pick one like I did with years on the nasty cigs.

Just FYI, all the AW IMR 18650's I've gotten came already close to a full charge. So if the charger is a day or so late, you should be good to go anyway.

ETA: You didn't mention it, but a meter might be a good investment (around $3 at harbor freight). You'll get a good feel for when the battery needs to be changed out (a lot of folks, me included, change them when they drop below about 3.9v) After about the first week, you'll just "know" when it's below that and change it out. The meter is also handy for testing attys/cartos when they arrive, to spot DOAs, and it's a good idea to recheck them if you clean them. It's also recommended to test the batteries after they come off the charger. I've never had one go wonky on me, but it could happen, so I test them each time they're charged.

I have a really nice Multimeter as I tend to play with electronics often. Update on the shipping, the good ole Hawaii USPS division decided to not deliver on Saturday, and today is a holiday. I have the charger and my batteries are all up and ready to go. I am hoping tomorrow will be the day I'm getting really impatient which has always been a problem for me. I'm making due with my other devices.

Odd thing is that all the batteries were almost fully charged when I received them, it only took 10mins~ on the charger to get the green lights :)

Sorry for the double post but I just got my Reo Grand! Assembled it and my first squonk was flawless! Very happy with it so far its performing exactly like I hoped it would. I do have some play on the door but not up and down, more of a side to side thing (it still stays in the groove though). Now I can let my wife give it a shot and hopefully order her one to get her off the 3 analog a day vape the rest habit. She is very lazy and this cannot get much easier.

Thanks Rob awesome product!

Edit: This thing is much heavier than I expected it to be, might need a holster for it :)

Edit2: Post office workers don't like being ambushed at the mail box by rabid vapers waiting for new stuff.
