I just picked up a 'silver' one at one of the local B&M's for likely way to much $$$.

Its really 'plug and play'. After plugging in my 3 favorite wire TCR's I was up and vaping in less than 5min. Sized about the same as a SXminiM but with a 26650 and better menu system. It even comes with a 18650 adaptor for those that don't have 26650's. USB charging and software upgrades. It has about the same 'heft' and balance as a SXminiM, I'm liking the fire button.

While worried about the 26650 battery sag I built a 0.98ohm coil out of NiFe48 30AWG ribbon which covers the TFV4's deck side-2-side and wicked with 3.5mm Silica rope. (should have plenty of vapor with less than 30W)

The magnetic battery door needs a "little love" as it seems like it moves when I squeeze the mod to trigger.

Whats not to like? The Evic VTC mini screen and menu's in a larger package to fit the larger battery. I even bought some rubber washers at Lowe's for fitting a TFV4 (single coil) on it. (there is always hope that the other half does not notice that it is a new addition)

I agree with you on you're assessment George, "What's not to like?" I just got a Black Presa 100w TC yesterday and am Love'in it alot also. My battery door is good and tight, so as always, QC issues with some (mine doesn't sit 100% flat, it has a very slight wobble, back and forth but not side to side, to it when I set it down on a glass surface, but not enough to tip over or anything like that, just noticeable to me), but overall I think it is a Very Good, clean looking, well built Mod. I am running an 18650 with the adapter for now till my (2) 26650 MNKE's get here from IMRbatteries.com (as per Mooch's posts). The Presa is within a millimeter or 2 of the height of my Cuboid, and weighs a HECK of a lot LESS. I can Thumb fire or turn it around and Trigger fire, makes no difference, as both ways feel good and even natural, to be doing. Paint job seems better than most, but it's still too early to assess that feature, but it is Not slippery or slidy in my hands.

I have a VTC mini and the aforementioned Cuboid, and like the feel of this Presa 100w TC better, as far as the screen goes, I think it is about a toss up between all three, I like them all. Right now I am running mine with a 23mm Taifun GT-V2-T (FT Clone), a 1.36Ω Twisted 30g Kanthal, and Rayon at 11.5 to 13 watts and am love'in it alot.

I like it so much that I am thinking about getting a Presa 75w TC as a sort of stealth mod to go along with my Lemo Drop, or better yet, my Tron-T with the CLR heads and Rayon, for quick trips out and about, you know.

Maybe you're "Other Half" would like the Presa 75w TC George, as it is a bit smaller than the 100w TC. Just a thought.

I don't have a Presa 100 yet, but if it's anything like the 75 you can try flipping the door. I know the battery door on my 75 moves a little if the door is upside down but it doesn't move at all when it's the other way around. Might be worth a shot.

I already tried that little trick, it don't work, the magnets repulsed the door when I tried. I thought it was a good idea, just like you, till I tried it.

I'm still on the fence regarding the ergonomics of mine. It sort of feels good in the hand but is a little too weighty for me. Feels like i could drop it easily... I wish the 'trigger' was a little less gappy too.
On a positive note, my battery door is snug, the screen is good and the battery life with a 26650 is excellent. It is also rock solid when set down, no wibble at all (unlock my better looking Balrog which wobbles like a jelly).
Also, switching the door magnets wont work because the battery door is handed, curved top and straight bottom.

Ouch. I wanted the Presa 100 to replace my obnoxiously heavy Cuboid. I love the screen and the battery life of the Cuboid but can't deal with the weight. The Presa 75 is super light and so comfortable to use.

With both the Cuboid and Presa 100 all loaded up and ready to vape (with the same atomizer on top), there is a big difference in weight, feel, and bulk. The Cuboid feels like lifting an end table lamp compared to the Presa 100, I'll still use my Cuboid mind you, but not to go out with. I can just put my Presa 100 in my back pocket and go, The Cuboid on the other hand, I'll have to put on a belt AND suspenders.

Larger than a Boxer but about the same size as a SXminiM and Cuboid:

The Boxer is the lightest of the bunch, the other three seem to have the same weight (or fairly close). Considering the differences in battery(s) the SXminiM is a hefty mod for a single 18650.

Is there firmware updates that change the layout/font of the screen? I'd rather have a more Cuboid or VTC mini looking layout than the default mine got shipped with.

I'm also waiting for an update, I guess the VTC mini spoiled me with all it's updates. I hope Wismec doesn't leave us High and Dry. Thanks for that comparison pic, I have (2) out of the (4) you have there. I am looking at the Boxer also, so thanks for that.

Edit: I just emailed Wismec.Com on their Contact page and asked that very question George, as I too would be interested.

Here's something I saw that ya'll might be interested in seeing also:

After vaping on the Presa 100 for Saturday evening, most of the day Sunday and some this AM the TFV4 I have mounted is almost out of juice and the battery is at 3.6V. There is not enough juice to make it to/from work so I'll refill the tank and swap batteries before leaving. The 'Time' on the screen is currently 01244.

While I was juggling a few other mods, I'd say that the Presa made it though a whole day of vaping+ and is capable of draining a full TFV4 tank on a charge. Thus making the two a fairly good even match with the build and settings I'm using.

I did add a rubber washer between the TFV4 and the Presa shortly after purchasing (from Lowes) which will hopefully save mine from any 510 issues in the future.

All in all a good 1st tank full experience. I'd recommend it.

I take it that you're first run was with a 18650 using the adapter ?? On 18650's I get to 01450-01685 sec. depending on battery age (and whether I put in a VTC4 or 25R which are over a year old, but I have rotated them throughout their life time), and a Full Taifun tank (5ml, which I average only 3.7ml per day thru), that's at 11-12.5 watts MTL. I just got my first (2) 26650 MNKE 3500 mAh batteries in the mail this morning and have them charged up and (1) inserted as I type, so we'll see how that goes. I could care less about hitting 100 Watts, I just got the 26650's for the battery life, not power, so at my vaping wattage I will see how much longer these 26650's last. I'm expecting good things from them, as DJLsb Vapes alluded to. I am liking this Presa more and more. That's what I always look for also in my setups, It HAS to last at least a full day with a 5ml tank (Lemo V1, Cthulhu V2, Taifun's) at my wattage's for my standard vape setup. My Other setups (Aromamizer, Magma, EVOD's, Kanger AeroTanks, S.O.D. 5k and the like) are different.

Rubber washers, I never thought of using those, Good Idea.

@52anddone: WOW, you got that much run time out of a 18650!?!?! It really goes to show us that different vaping styles REALLY make the difference in run time.

My first run was with a Basen IMR 26650 4500mAH 60A! As "Mooch" says, all the 26650's have downright silly over ratings on them. My #6 just ate a eFest rated at 4500 which only ran for 2600mAH. I think I got a bit more out of a Basen pushing ~40K Joules on the #6 (forget the mAH measure however it was better than the eFest). The mAH ratings on 26650's are as silly as the over blown CDC ratings. :(

I really only get ~8-10hrs out of a LG HG2 18650. I run medium/low power D2L setups mostly. My dual coil setups on the #6 and Boxer exposed very noticeable battery droop resulting in less then optimum battery run time. My solution is/was to optimize some single coil builds for these mods.

In my book if I can vape after work Friday and all day Saturday and have enough charge to get my coffee on Sunday AM the setup is a winner. Until the release of 26650 regulated mods the IPV4S and Boxer 2x18650 were the only mods that would do the job. Battery run time on the Cuboid falls somewhere between a single and dual 18650 configuration.

I bought two Mxjo 26650's and I'm trying one in the Presa now. Granted I'm D2L but have a custom 30AWG flatwire NiFe build @ 0.98ohms that I'm driving with 25W in TC mode. It does not use the full 25W for long with THAT thin wire. ;)
