Yes the blue led version has a narrower well than the red led version.

when I asked Smoktech what version these were they told me there weren't any versions just two different Vmax
which of course, is ridiculous as one had to be first you'd think.

I got the V3 and V4 designators from what is being said on the forums. but most certainly they are different. The electronics seem the same but the units themselves are a bit different.

Blue LED = Need adapter for skirted egos like CE4
Red LED = No adapter for skirted egos like CE4

From what I've read the Revision 4 has the Blue LED.

Well I just got my 3 new Phoenix ( clone ) rebuild-able attys. Like Eric I like the tapered top on these FAR better than the flat top on the Phoenix name brand. These are in every way the same build quality just a more finished look, and the price I got 3 for what some sites want for 1 name brand Phoenix (Eric you Rock ). And they look awesome on a Vmax or other similar device, I can't put it down.

I also received 2 new Smoktech Vivi Tanks I have not had a chance to play with them yet but can't wait. When I ordered them I knew what they where so I just placed the order I did not read where it said "Tank is made from polypropylene" at first I thought oh man it's not the clear one. I was thinking of a syringe type cheap looking kind of tank, but I should of known better. Eric was thinking ahead the polypropylene tank is VERY thick the ends are smoothly cut it's a nice finished look just like the clear polycarbonate tank only frosted. To my surprise I like the look better and as one who likes fruit flavors like cherry which I know first hand will crack a PC tank PP tanks handle cherry and every other juice I like fine.

I have more of the clones coming in and I have something else after it :)
I don't know what others were paying for these but I cannot believe they were going for 15, 20 and even 40 on one site.

I have been playing with the Smoktech Vivi Tank. I knew when I got it that it would not draw on my Provari with out an adapter one of which I don't have. I knew I would be modding it I put a hole in the tank just above the center o-ring line it can be rotated for draw across the wick by turning it. I really liked the draw on the Phoenix ( clone ) rebuild-able atty so I matched it with a 1/32 drill bit on my dermal ( the draw is perfect for me ) most use a 1/16 but I thought you can always go bigger you can't go back. It came in at 2.1 ohm the vapor is awesome at 4.2 volts but after 2 draws taste burnt it just dose not wick well at all I am using 70vg / 30pg. I am not sure if it's the wick or maybe the holes are to small and restricting the juice flow I have heard some enlarge the wick holes. Still playing but so far pleased with it for it's potential.

My Blue LED version does not fit a CE4 and I had to wait for mine to "be made" so not sure what is up now, this is severely frustrating.

That sux, sorry you have been having bad luck.I guess you checked a couple ?Whats the point of the ego top if you need an adapter is it for some other reason ?

Ok quick update the wicking was fine the problem was a slightly raised coil wrap on the end. It was glowing red giving me a hot spot where it was not making contact with the wick and causing dry hits. I made the needed adjustment set my PV to 4.0 volts and I am very pleased with it. My goal is SS mesh that may require more tinkering, but for now I feel I a have great device at a great price with wide potential.

Can't believe I placed another order and freaking forgot to add a Clone.

Is there a juice reservoir below the wick like it appears to my eye?

I have been able to initially start with 15 drops and refill with about 8-10 drops thereafter. Last quite awhile as compared the plain atty before needing more liquid. Taste great and pretty good throat hit.
