Eric, Any news on when SS Vamos will be back in stock?

Urge

I cancelled the order actually because the SS looked nearly identical to the chrome last time and I couldn't really tell them apart, I asked for the SS to be more brushed and distinguished, so now waiting for more word.

I had forgotten about it until now, will check on it.

I've been seeing dids/cobra with 2 looong knurled nuts for the PP/centerpin..

Do the AGA-T makers make such a thing? These 3 little guys are driving me "nuts" - almost too small, and brushing crud from a coil usually flings a nut to floor/carpet/sink, etc.

I don't know, will ask though :)

Hey Eric, your listing for the sigeili mechanical #19 it looks like a pic of the #9. Does it have the magnets in it? Any coupons?

It's a 9, I have updated it.

They invoiced me for 19, showed me this item as 19 and I see it in their pictures on the website as 9
so.. not sure what they are doing, my pictures from them are different from what they are posting online.
It's a mess, at least for me.

Just my two cents:

DV doesn't usually post coupons as far as I know, since his prices are rock bottom in general. I think there is a frequent customer automatic percentage discount and I know there are great contests to win gift certificates on the DV Fun thread!! Hope that helps some!

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/discountvapers/393605-dv-fun-thread-join-party-contests-prizes.html

Right on, I qualify for the repeat customer discount but know that from time to time coupon codes had been posted like for the dream tank and some others that where "overpriced" per manufacturer request.

Been away for a while but I think I'm gonna have to check out the contest thread. Thanks for the info!

Something for the ladies :)

My dear friend has made these for me and I am proud to post them in the shop. She's not currently employed and facing a hard time, so I suggested she put her skills to good use. (she a seamstress)

what do you think?

Ladies Vape Clutch Bags!
Unique hand made Lightly padded pouch with polyester zipper.

Convenient D ring for hanging on a key chain. Handmade in the USA
Inside of the clutch is made with complimentary colored fabric..

Large enough to hold a few cartomizers, batteries and other items. Even holds an 1100 twist!.Or you just use it for non vape stuff too! Makes a great gift and the proceeds stay in the USA!

Size:
5 3/4" x 3"

Usable Inside space: 5" x 2.5".

Each design is slightly different and may contain a random but color matched zipper.
Not all zippers are the same color but they are in the same color family.

Note: some of the pictures came out a little gray, these are all nice and new.

Thanks for doing what you do. With so many pressures inflating the market I appreciate you keeping it real with holding down accessible prices.

Really just want to wish you & your friend the best of luck with the lady's clutches. They look great! Sometimes the hard times get us back on our feet doing something we didn't think of doing when we had regular work and that's a good thing. I'm not in the market for one myself being a male, but I will spread the word to my lady friends.

Thank you, that might help she's kinda bummed, I haven't sold any for her :(
It's too high in price (according to my wife lol) I am going to lower it a bit and subsidized it for her. (I don't profit on it)

I didn't wanna say but I kinda agree with Jamie on the price thing  Just a tad too high.(but I also know what materials cost and the time it takes to make something like that too, I do sew & it's not cheap on her part to get this started) But another reason I think 'Maybe' is the time of year too. Don't let her give up on those, maybe towards Christmas they'd pick up more sales ? Like when people are putting together a new vapers gift they would need to assemble something pretty. I don't know. I wish I could buy a few hundred to help her out but my piggy bank is so low it ain't funny :( Actually, it is funny and we can laugh if ya want Sonics :p One Two Three ....GO !:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::smokie:

Sad but true. Seems that anytime someone dedicates time and effort into making something of quality such as this, the price scares away the clients. Eric, I think it is great of you to try and help her move these. There is a market for them. However it's going to be a small niche market. :2c:

I think Jamie's right re: pricing. the bags are really cute, but not much different from what you can pick up at a local store for less. Alot of this crowd is the diy type and I know I can make this for myself for much less.
maybe she could add some little doodads/pockets, elastic straps inside to customize them for gear carrying (bottles, attys, batts, whatnot). also, consider some masculine fabrics/prints and more 'architectural' or squarish looking bags for men.

fyi, she should consider making mod covers for the higher end crowd like the reo, provari, etc. owners who are already buying up mod covers to keep their 'precious' safe from damage. i know one gal on the reo forum makes free covers from scrap fabric that she gives away, but the leather ones from serenity gear are $$$$ and lots of people buy those. i don't know if your friend would want to make just a few and see if anyone on those threads are interested in beta testing them. she would need dimensions but i think she could get them from the vendor sites.
(or maybe a good excuse for you to buy some 'samples' for yourself!!)

just some thoughts.

Perhaps the bling factor just needs to be raised a notch. If there was a precious metal charm, even a jeweled embellishment of some kind, that might speak more for the fact that they are hand made, and attract another kind of mindset. I know the lady's in my life actually drool over the hardware on a Coach bag the same way a couple of us guys feel about our MOD buttons. loui Viton has built 1/2 it's trademark on giant brass zippers. Discerning lady's notice it & that's what makes 'em shell out. Now we're talking in the status symbol territory. I know it would be more investment, but in the long run it may pay off to develop rather than subsidize.

It does say "Discount" in the name though, so maybe it's a mutually exclusive idea to offer hand made goods at boutique pricing, under the current moniker.

Pushing the long run advice one more time; I'd say don't give up too soon. My wife also sells small quantities of hand sewn goods such as herbal eye-pillows, knitted thneads, and slug-gloves. She just keeps producing them and considers it money in the bank. Some of the items have taken a long time to sell, but then suddenly the right person buys and shouts, "I've been looking for something like this forever!"

We are fortunate in our downtown district because there are numerous retailers that sell small quantities of hand made goods from multiples of face-to-face makers. So my wife plants a little here and a little there; pretty soon there's a decent inventory in circulation, and over time I've watched it turn into a slow but constant trickle of money and notoriety.
