Mailman arrived today as well for me Snow sir. :) Just so everyone knows, these do carry the V4L logo on the box they come in. Will give a full panel soon, just tried it on an xl king diamond manual. 1.5ohms was the rating on the carto in the tank, and batt was running at 4.02v under load with it. From a small non-mod batt that is simply amazing. Pic will follow shortly. :)

That looks hot! Anybody know about leakage? I would like to try that sexy tank on my Echo 1300 auto batteries, but I'm a little nervous. I've used CE2s without any issues.

NINJA EDIT: Also are there plans for a 3.5 mL in chrome? I don't see one, but I want one!

Question for those in the know, do the cartos have a flange at the bottom that prevents the tank from sliding down?

To all those wondering, I've been using a similar (if not the same) 510 version of all three tanks daily for the past 1+ month and I LOVE them. There have been absolutely zero leaks and laying them on their side isn't a problem whatsoever. You can turn it upside down if you'd like. Filling with a syringe makes the entire process really easy... but you'll want to make sure you prime the carto filler with ~15 drops and let it sit a few minutes the first time you use it.

If I have one complaint about the 510 versions (bought from another vendor), it would be the included drip tips -- they sometimes don't fit very well. I can't comment on the V4L versions though, they might not have that problem at all. Most of you will have a favorite V4L drip tip on hand so its not a huge deal.

A couple of notes... the filler in my tanks always looks dry but vapes perfectly fine. The particular cartos I've been using only have one little hole punched in it so maybe the V4L method of adding a second hole will help with absorption. I've also tried to clean a few of the cartos and haven't really had any luck -- in fact, they came out worse than before the cleaning. I'm thinking this has to do with the fact that having only one hole instead of two stresses the carto beyond the point of cleaning. If I were a betting man, I'd say the V4L tanks probably won't have this problem.

I would definitely recommend these tanks to anyone interested and can't imagine going back to my previous setup. Now go buy one!

Yeah, I realize its much lower resistance than both, but wasnt sure what the "dual coil" might do to offset or multiply the overall affect of much lower resistance.

If I'm not mistaken, a 1.5 ohm DC carto is safer to use on V4L batteries because its essentially two 3.0 ohm coils run in parallel. You should get a lot more vapor since the heating area is greater and the chance of burning is lower because each coil has a higher resistance.

To answer your question... yes they have the flange at the bottom. To answer the question you implied... the two holes helps immensely with absorption (we also have 510 versions with only one hole). Can't comment too much on the drip tips, I've used several of the tanks and have not had problems. However, there is some tolerance in the diameter of the cartos and the drip tips.

Tennovan sir a dual coil carto is never safer to use on a batt, you're increasing the amperage draw by twice of that of the lowest cool carts I've come accross. You're pushing a battery to it's limits using one. The fact the kd's can actually power them is a credit to just how great these batts are. Would never have thought to use a dual coil on one in fear of damaging the cell. Been testing all night with them on king diamond and stealths and am simply amazed at how well they handle them. Time of use is reduced dramatically (no video yet, no hard numbers yet :)) but that was a given. Gone through a whole bottle of nuport wow tonight testing, been a very fun experience. :)

Hate double posting but will leak one piece of info, non-king diamond and stealth batts can't run the KRDCT. Tried it on my last 5 remaining old school batts, they would light up but no vapor. V1 king diamonds, v2 kd's and stealths, and manuals all ran it without issue. In other words if you want to use these on a small batt, you might want to pick up a king diamond or stealth. :)

And by that you mean manual diamond or stealth? Or are auto diamond and stealths ok?

Perfect, thanks. I've been waiting for someone to carry 808 versions of these tanks. This sounds like a definite improvement over what I have now. Gonna pick a few up for sure.
