I'm no expert, but I've seen a few different brands of clones. You're correct that one sign is a shallow engraving, but a sure sign is the font. The clones I've seen all had a more narrow font. It's hard to see from your photo, but look at the "m" in the word Nemesis. If it's more narrow than your authentic, it's most likely a clone.

I hope you didn't get screwed. It's one thing to knowingly get a clone, but passing a clone off as the real thing really sucks.

You might also want to check the serial number registries on Atmomixani's facebook page, the UK forum, and anywhere else there may be a list. Hopefully Loco69 can help identify the serial, and what country it was sent to.

Need help from the experts. Just got a VW Nemesis in a trade and need to know if I was scammed or not. If you notice the engravings are higher then on my other Nemesis'

In order to know for sure, I'll need the following:
- pic of the inside of the topcap
- pic of the air flow control holes
- pic of the inside of the bottom cap
- pic of the threads on the main tube with the bottom switch and locking ring removed
- pic of the bottom cap

You can't go from the battery gap because the bottom tube is adjustable... if the exact same atty/top pins were adjusted the same then maybe it would be an indicator. You also cant go from the vent holes.

I agree the engraving height is off and the font looks different. I just want to be certain...

Get those pics posted (or PM me) and make them as clear as possible. We'll get it figured out.

Edit - also, PM me the name of the person you got it from.

Seriously? They sold out in 5 minutes. Glad I got mine:)

No, not sold out yet. All still showing stock level "green". There was a brief moment where the Ice SS Matte was out of stock, but came back. In any case, got mine too. :)

PS - I did have a problem though. It seems you can't have too many items in your cart when checking out, as the shipping options disappear! I had to remove all the spare parts and just order the Anima (and one other item). Hopefully VapeRev gets extra parts in stock someday, so I don't have to pay shipping from Greece, again.

Good to know. Good luck with Anima as it looks great. I considered one but went with another striker

Yep. devices generally sell out in 3 - 5 minutes. atomizers are a bit longer but, that depends as well.

Check the resellers in the next couple of days as they should have gear coming.

Also - if you need spare parts and you don't see them on vaperev (or another reseller) and are concerned with shipping costs from Greece, there are a few other authorized resellers that have lower cost shipping but, it takes longer to get here (like eliquidbar.com) or you could arrange a group buy in private messages :)

Question, I just purchased a VR edition Nemesis from a member on here and comparing it to my Nemi mod Ive noticed the engravings are not as deep. Did Atmomixani change his engraving process after the VR nemesis? Here are some pics, I can attach more if needed. I just really want to know if this is real or not. Seeing that it says VR and has the serial number I don't believe it could be a clone. I never heard of a VR nemesis Clone?

The engraving process did change throughout the Nemesis run. if you compare a first batch to one that just shipped, you will absolutely see differences in the depth though, the accuracy is still there. Comparing a VR to the Nemi would be like comparing apples to oranges.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a VR clone out there so, I suspect you're good.
