Those look great Canned, both are darker than I thought .... gaw, now I am really torn on which to get! LOLOL
Petros added a treatment to keep the color from fading and the tubes from getting scratched (he mentioned it on his Facebook page some time ago) - I think that contributes to the colors being a bit darker.
Some I think is the lighting as well.
Regardless, they are stunning.
A friend of mine is testing Sharkhide Metal Protectant .... he said it makes a coating of sorts also, and stops any torched tubes from changing/fading. At least that is the hope. LOL
love the matte accents on the celeste, especially, but they all look great.
Same. I think the Celeste is my favorite of the two. The matte looks great and I almost went Matte on the Terra as well but, thought it might be a good idea to get one of each just in case...
before seeing your photo, i think i would have gone with the terra with polished accents.
.... and then suffered a severe case of regret after seeing the celeste with matte accents and been forced to buy yet another nemesis.
I agree. I have polished accents with my VW Nemie, and polished with the brass. I am definitely getting brushed with my Eric's.
I was going to see about the Terra, but I think I do like the Celeste more, that is a REALLY nice shade of blue.
I know they won't all be exact, but that blue is something else.
Oh no ... now that I look again, the Terra would be Sa-Weet with the brass accents ..... Jeeze, decisions decisions. Canned, you have been absolutely NO help!

I have not but, someone listed a Loki tank on the classifieds. they bought a brushed and decided to polish it and almost all of the etching came off. I suspect they went too long on the polisher but still... i wouldnt do it.
If you have a brushed version and want a polished one, I would post it for trade on the classifieds before I would take it to a polisher.
I have a polished version and the brass. Just didn't want to shine them up and the etching disappear haha. Polished my buddies Chi You and the black etching on the logo came completely off.
shining an already polished one might be ok... I'm honestly not sure. I know I would be concerned - I wouldn't want to lose the logo.

I think just cleaning it up would be fine, just don't go over and over the logo.
If there was a scratch, just focus on that area. You may have to re-brush your Nemie (brushed ones) if you over-polish.
It's like the mod with the little boat .... don't polish the boat!
