I'm glad to say that if I never spend another dime (barring an unforeseeable disaster like a major earthquake in the Mississippi valley) I can make it to age 105 without paying that tax. If my nic in the freezer goes bad, I guess I'll try 0 nic. I found a bottle of 36mg in my storage box last week that was bought in 2010 and never refrigerated. I thought WTH I'll try it. I mixed 10ml of coffee with it (3mg), and vaped it yesterday. No problems.

About the same here.. I read the sickening reports of 'per ml taxes' and 'flavor bans', and I just think "those silly little politicians". :p

Good to hear about that unfrozen 2010 nic.. That means it'll hopefully bode well if I need to start filling my six 1 gallon amber glass jugs that don't have space to freeze. I'll do my civil duty to ensure that a black market exists for those unlucky enough to have switched to vaping before yet another prohibition (seriously, have prohibitions EVER done anything good at all?).

You know the lesser of the two evils argument.... I agree with it.

But, there comes a point that one accepts the lesser of the two evils for so long, that both choices are just pure evil.

I mean.... I remember saying "Yes, I can go to the smoker's corral at work." Then, "I can go to my car to vape, because vaping is prohibited on my work campus." (Not that I would do that I do not tell ANY work person I vape because they all believe it's only Satanists that do it. I use snus. (it works.)

I see taxation, I see endless regulation.

There is going to come a point where all of our "lesser evils" mean we are only vaping in the privacy of our homes, in the dead of night.

I don't "need" much either (although after I move, I will get a couple more liters of nic, and some flavors because that seems germane to do, since my new lab work came back since vaping and it was awesome, apparently I may get OLD which was not my plan, heh) but it's just plain depressing sometimes.

That was 36mg, not 100. It's not entirely obvious why, but the stronger the nic is, the more it tends to "turn". If you're serious about storing 6 gallons, get a freezer. They're not that expensive. See here for why.

It's about space for a 2nd extra freezer - I live in a tiny apartment.
Although I've seen that thread before, I did just notice that was in 100% PG this time around. In tests that Kurt had done, 100% PG nic turned even in the freezer. It's for that reason I only ever get 100% VG nic (and have some 8 gauge syringe tips ;))

What I'd do is get higher concentration nic to replace that which is currently in 24 8-ounce bottles.. And store the 100mg/ml in the unrefrigerated gallons. Remember it'll just be filled (at least some) as a last resort - and to do my civic duty in defying an unjust law.

There are VG samples in that thread as well. See post #78. Thus far (2 years in), I'm not seeing much difference between PG and VG.

Due to the rise in children using mobile 'phones i propose a super-tax, the proceeds of which will be used to pay for the education of children into how to not use mobile 'phones.
And the tax can pay for the development and deployment of an educational phone app all the kids can use.

If the regulations as proposed are enforced there won't be much product to tax so may be what this proposal will demonstrate is the public health crowd would prefer to keep vaping, take the money and pretend to do something about vaping like they pretend to do something about smoking. In ancient time a kingdom might pay a tribute to an invading army in to avoid a war. Call it protection money.

Some things change. Some things stay the same.
