Is cross-training on your current "I'm working on it" list? For that matter, what parts aren't you working on? (I need to know action items in process vs need-to-get-moving).

Open Issues:

1) Now that there are full admin privileges for everyone in here, do we still need to create an "Editor list"?
2) Links to the list
3) Some rights for mod/admin to edit times and/or communication protocol for the times.
4) Cross training list editors and publishing a schedule.
5) turning time determination

We have a dilemma. J0ker keeps saying something to the effect of "I"d get off of specific date/time for turnings". Also, classy, or whomever, doesn't have access (yet).

Did I miss any?

So... whiskey opened another thread.

So I'll ask again: Question. What goes in what thread? Now I'm as confused as Meggers!!!!!!!

Also, I've asked twice, or more, about the "who's working on what open issue." So... I'll work with TomCatt and get the list link solution item moving. I have yet another question for j0ker though in that regard. I'll attach my PM here when done.

I really would rather avoid posting the list externally. That means that:

1) We need an ECF solution or
2) We just don't hot link to it.

A lot of people use the hot links in sigs for accessing "the list". So, I don't know if I mentioned this or explained it before but:

Could you create a sub-forum, under the PVT-Contest forum that all of ECF would have read-only access to? The PVT-Contest list editors (or all the PVT-contest crew if you want the current "global" approach) could just post a copy of the list into a closed thread in that sub-forum. Then they could link to it.

Possible/practical?
If so, do you still need an "Editor-list"? Since all are admin above... would that hold true for the sub-forum too?

It really belongs here now long-term Tibs. However, alas, I don't know of a way to have it here and have it (well a copy) publicly viewable. Was worth trying.

@Atty - main list kept here and editing of it takes place here (here = PVT sub-forum). Whis (I think) will copy it to BWB sticky for sig links.

@list_editors: What I'd suggest is go into editing of list, copy list and paste below current list, edit copied list, do a preview and check for any mistakes. If it's good, erase 'old' list and save.


ETA:
Like the idea of putting "EDITING" at top of list while in the process of editing.
