Ok just got my sigelei 100w plus on its way here. I'm wanting to get a tank so I don't always have to constantly have have to drip. I'm looking for something that is easy to build and don't have leaking problems and flooding problems. I don't have alot of cash left maybe have about 20 to spend.

Another question is what guage of wire should I pick up I know a popular one is 28. Just wonder if I should also buy any other planning to have a rta and rda to start out with. Then maybe move to a kanger subtank And who knows from there.

Well for rebuildable tanks, I have my Kanger Sub Tank and UD AGA-T5 Kayfun Styled Rebuildable Atomizer They aren't difficult to build on, but I also build single coils for my tanks, dual is by no means a simple task for these two. I also build them with 26 gauge, I usually shoot for .8 ohms for my Provari, but with the Segelei you could definitely build lower or duals. I prefer my RDA's for my Segelei 100, but that's me

The Kanger subtank is nice in that you can build your own coils, but also use pre-built coils if you prefer. The difference is that when you use the build-your-own coil heads, you lose a little juice capacity.

I have a Sig 100 and 150 and I like building around .9 ohms with them. Less power is required and battery life is stellar that way.

I have the new Kayfun V4 (clone) and absolutely love it. I paid $24.95 with free shipping. The Kanger Subtanks offer more versatility being able to use prebuilt coil heads and the ability to use it as an RTA but they are a bit higher in cost. The quality of the V4 clone I received is really unbelievable, especially for the price. I'll look up where I purchased it if you're interested and post it here.

I would recommend the eLeaf Lemo RTA, it has superb airflow, excellent build quality and an authentic Lemo is under $40 shipped. Lots of room for building (using 3.5mm diameter coils in mine) and has enough airflow to handle parallel or dual coils at upwards of 60w.

As for kanthal, I prefer 25 guage, but typically use between 24 and 26 guage on my single coil RTA's.

I wanted to get started in RBA tanks too. So, I have ordered a Kanger Sub Mini (got it for $35.95 from sweet vapes).
It comes with the rebuildable deck. You can also buy coils for it if you want to.

I have also just ordered a Joyetech Delta II ($39.90). You can buy a separate rebuildable (RBA) deck for it. They sell ready-built coils for the RBA separately or you can build your own.

I know both of these are more than $20. But, they seem to be of good quality and get good reviews.

Good luck.

BTW, I have no affiliation with Sweet Vapes. I have just found them to have good prices, fast shipping, and very good customer service. I have ordered many items from them.

Hi, I'm not sure what qualifies in that strict price range. I know you can get a Orchid v4 for under 20 bucks on ebay at times. The orchid is a pretty good tank for the price. I do have favorite tanks but they are over the price limit you set. I would give the orchid a try. Although it does not cost much it's a good rba. I prefer 28 gauge wire for most builds. Hope this helps

Looking back at my vaping history, I see that I spent more money buying cheap stuff (that didn't work or broke) than buying something good (and expensive) in the first place. So, if I were you, I would save some cash and buy a Kayfun lite plus (original) or something around 60-100 dollars. Of course, not everything that's expensive is good, but I had cloned attys and I was disappointed. The best wire for me is Kanthal 28 g, some drill bits from hardware store (2mm, 2.5mm) and, if you can find, japanese cotton for wicking. This thing is fabulous!

For wire gauge I find 30 gauge to be a good all round gauge because you can use it both in rebuildables and when recoiling stock protank sized coils, but if you're getting a rebuildable anyway, 28 is a commonly used gauge on them; I find myself leaning more towards the thinner gauges though, on my drippers because the topper don't get as hot. When I did order wire I ordered 10m each of 34, 32, 30 and 28 so I can experiment. The 34 is too springy to work with; the 32 and thicker is ok.

With a 100w mod you got your options wide open.
